Thanks, Kisobel! Now it's time to play "do I buy now, or hope the fare goes down AND my flights are still available"![]()
I just checked the Jetblue website and there are only flights through Sept. 4. I also checked Kayak and they don't show anything. I am looking for Nov. Where did you find flights through Oct.?
Maybe I'm missing something, but I just checked Jetblue.com again and although their calendar will allow you to select a date past Sept. 4, when you actually select a date past then, and try to book it, you get an error message saying "We're not selling seats yet on the date you selected. Currently, we're selling seats for all destinations through September 04, 2007. Please check back again soon for flights after that date."
The JetBlue site appears to not have been fully updated yet. Look for the flight on the main page, do not click on the book a flight tab, it let's you book for past September. I just booked for September 22nd through the 29th. If you try on Kayak.com it will also take you directly to the JetBlue site and let you book.
No price penalty for one-way flights on JetBlue.
.
Can someone please explain to me what this means??
Thank you
michboro - since you're sure of your dates (apparently, anyway), you can always just book the outbound flight now and pay attention to this board to see when the dates are extended again. No price penalty for one-way flights on JetBlue.
I can't book my outbound flight yet, because they don't have the flight schedule for Nov. yet. I need a flight out on Nov.3 and return flight on Nov. 11. Last year the Nov. flights were released around May 12, so I guess I'll just have to impatiently wait until then. Thanks for the input.
It means that they do not charge you extra for booking a flight just one way so let's say I book my flight BOS to MCO but I do not book a flight back from MCO to BOS. Most airlines charge you more for the one way ticket then they would have for the round trip flight.
Thank you for the explanation.
