Okay so I have an almost $600 credit w/ Jetblue. Does anyone know if this is transferable. I tried booking in August couldn't touch a rate under $200 each way for the week I wanted. Now, I'm looking at late January and can't touch a rate under $300 each way. I don't know what give because I never have paid more than $100 any way to Orlando on any airline. Usually I'm more in the $55-70 range per each way.

This credit has to be travelled w/ by May 1st. I am honestly thinking we will not be using Jetblue. So, one of the doctors I work for said he may be interesting in purchasing it from me for his son to use, I guess he flies Jetblue all the time. Really I think he's just buying it since his son uses Jetblue and I seem to be caught in a pickle w/ this airfare. So, does anyone know if I can transfer this credit to someone else?? I really don't want to give my CC info. Every time I try to get a straight answer from Jetblue I get a cookie cutter response that has nothing to do w/ my question. Just looking to see if anyone else has had this expierence. Thanks.

I know Continental vouchers are transferable. I just gave mine to my BIL and he used them without problem.

I;m pretty sure it's transferrable, but you don't have to give him your CC# - just give him the confirmation #.

Thank you-- I'll cal Jetblue today to verify. I really like their airline. At times they have good deals (lately they seem to be one extreme or the other). They have really room seats and aisles and I do LOVE the TV. I just don't know if I'll use it since I can't find a good deal for when I want to travel.

We've used our jetBlue credits to purchase a ticket for someone else.

Perhaps if worse comes to worse you could always just do that for him and he can give you the cash then...

jetBlue is a pretty accomodating airline :)

Just last week I bought a RT ticket on Jetblue with a friends credit. She just gave me her confirmation #. The agent only asked for that number, she didn't even ask for the original purchasers name.
So yes you definately can just give him your conf# and then he can give you a check for whatever amount he uses.

The credit is sitting in my "true blue" account or something. I have no accumulated points or anything of the sort. So, I'm assuming I could give them this account number- since it's the only thing in there. I'll just make a new one for DH if we fly them again just to be on the safe side.
