Jetblue Changed their Carryon Bag requirements

I was checking on my flight status this morning for our flight this week and saw this new message in regard to carryon bags.....

New Carry-On Baggage Requirements

Please be advised that our carry-on baggage requirements have changed. In order to fit in the overhead bin, carry-on bags must not exceed 24" x 16" x 10" on all of our aircraft types

While this doesn't really effect us as we always check our bags (free you know), we found on our last flight out of Reagan this January, many folks did use the carryon allowance and there was some drama in regard to size...especially on the smaller planes. These new sizes are still larger than our other carrier (United which is 45" total). Jetblue is now 50" total.

Their previous carry-on size was 26 x 18 x 12, which is a very large bag. The reduction is still bigger than most airlines; UA is 22 x 14 x 9.
