Yes, she was good. She's really hit her stride in the last two weeks. The only problem is that folks who go first or second (she was second) tend to get forgotten by the end of the show.

I think either Jasmine or Diana's going bye-bye this week.

My favorite tonight was Jennifer!!! What a voice!!! Fantasia and Latoya tie for second for me! They were both great, also. I agree with Dave in that Jasmine or Diana will be gone.(probably Diana) They both have pretty voices, though.

Jennifer was awesome! She really blew me away last night. My vote is definitely for her. I can't stand Fantasia. I don't like her voice or the way she talks. Frankly, I don't see what the hype is about. Both Johns should be gone! Neither can sing. John Stevens puts me to sleep every week and the other John has no range at all. Diana has a good voice. It's a shame that someone who can sing will get voted off before someone who can't like John Stevens! Just my opinion of course!

Annae... I agree with you about both Johns, but Diana is just my guess at who will be voted off. She has just had a couple of not-so-good weeks is all. I have heard her at her best and she is talented.

Diana lives in a town nearby, so I always try to vote for her. Last night I called, and called, and called, and only got through once. My absolute favorite is LaToya. Every time I called for her, I got through immediately...I hope that doesn't mean that LaToya wasn't getting many votes. I think she has a beautiful voice. My least favorite is Fantasia. Her voice isn't bad, but I just don't like her attitude (although it seems she has toned it down some).

Did you notice how many of them chose Disney movies as their favorite?

Jen was ok for me this week..>I just can't seem to get past her "foil outfit" when she was trying out..what was it Simon called her a Roasted Turkey or something?? Now everytime I see her that's all I can think of...she did sound good!

There are few I'd LOVE to see go TONIGHT!
John Stevens..he has a great voice for that Genre but he is still so young and he cannot sing any other genre but ol blue eyes. Great kid..I just get sick of hearing the same tone and same body language!

Fantasia...she has a "good" voice but to me she is WAAAYY to nasal when she sings! I think she has a bit of an attitude problem as well and doesn't take criticism well enough to be an Idol. I also thought her sitting on the ground in that dress last night was odd. Maybe it's just me but I didn't like that and I guess I've never "FELT" a song to make me cry like that but that also was odd to me....maybe it is just me though!

Diana--She just never seems to improve and last night's performance was one of the worst I've heard from her.

Jasmine--She's still so young...she will be awesome in another 2-3 years but she still doesn't seem to have the "goods" for this type of show yet. When she gets some years and wisdom behind her she'll be awesome!


I loved JPL, George Huff and LaToya though and I gave them all A BOATLOAD of votes!!!!!

Just have to jump in to give my opinion. I like Jennifer--but she is TOTAL "diva"...and that's fine, she's got a great voice--she even sees herself in that diva role. Could I hear a whole concert of diva? Not me, but then you won't see me sitting through Celene Dion or Whitney Houston either.

Now personally, I'll buy every CD Fantasia ever cuts (and that's not because I'm a NC girl!) She is so Macie Gray/Aretha to me. I like her voice because she is unique and a little different.

And I do agree that both John's have to go--John Peter just because it looks like he's having a seizure every time he dances, and John Stevens-- is it me or are they trying to turn him into Clay Aiken? Only Sinatra could sing everything slightly flat and get away with it. But he'll hang on until the final 5 people, he has a HUGE following apparently.

Yeah, I think John Stephens and John Peter Lewis get a lot of votes from the teenage girls. My 16 year old just loves both of them!!! Last night she got a phone call from this boy that she likes just as John Peter was beginning his song. She practically hung up on the boy just so that she could hear JPL sing!
