Jennifer and Luke's PJ/TR NY/WDW HM 6/6/2010,Wedding photos up! 12/08

Oh i'm such a bad influnce on you! hahahaha

Ok first.. Veil

I think isaw that seller on ebay. The way i see it, for the price they're going to sell it for i'd go for it. You're not going for like a mantilla veil or anything with too much detailing so its really just tulle and crystals... they can't really mess that up lol. I would definatly go for it! The one on etsy looks like the seller fanned it out so you can see the whole thing.

Second.. ADR's

I'm going to have to steal a few things from you list! I forgot that DF wanted to do Beirgarten too! All of your choices look awesome though... CR is AMAZING! i had the grilled mahi mahi and licked the bowl clean! (not kidding either ask DF!)

Hi, just reading up some tinight on PJ's and I love your ring! I'm having fun going through your pages, and you are very creative! Your inspiration board is so bright and pretty.
The pictures of you at the orchard are sweet. Can't wait for more!

I think i might have to listen and go with the ebay one. You don't think the etsy one is wider then the ebay ones? Its easier to tell that the etsy one is nice, makes me nervous that I cant see the ebay one before I buy but etsy is 3x as much!

Steal away! now i'm getting hungry for Disney food!

Oh thank you! I'm glad you had fun! Its good to hear others like my choices....I panic sometimes that I jumped into things too quickly!

I know, so not fair! Sometimes I wonder if I can sneak in there, but I worry they'll say no.

Love the title of your update :rotfl:!

Let's see, I think that would be what you want. I say for the price, couldn't really hurt to order it. I'm consider getting my veil from ebay too. I want it for the ceremony but probably will take it off sometime during the reception so I can't really see spending $$$ on it. But we have a indoor flea market type place near me and there are a few sellers there that make them, so I may go check that out.

I think those shoes are cute. They remind me of princess Jasmine shoes the way they are pointy. I think they will be fine under your dress. The part you would see still looks dressy enough so it won't look funny.

Okay, onto the food! My favorite subject!

Jiko - Love it, favorite restaurant in Disney and we may even serve the filet with mac&cheese at our wedding! I know you don't eat meat, but your DF may like that. ;)

California Grill - went for the first time in June and really liked it! Yum, flatbreads! The goat cheese polenta was also amazing!

I would do HDDR instead of Mickey's BBQ, I think HDDR generally gets better reviews.

Oooh, Narcoosee's or Citricos. Really love both, but if I had to choose one...Citricos!

Spirit of Aloha - I've seen some bad reviews on this one, I would skip it. Maybe do Kona or Ohana instead followed by Wishes on the Poly beach. :thumbsup2

50's PT - haven't done it but looking forward to it maybe on our PS trip.

Biergarten - want to try this, but don't like sitting with random people, maybe during the wedding trip when we'll have enough to fill a table. :lmao:

Coral Reef - didn't care for the food, seated really far from the tank and had a long wait, would do Tutto Italia instead, the food is amazing and the restaurant is really pretty. Very romantic.

Crystal Palace - is this breakfast or dinner? For dinner I would do CRT, nothing more magical than eating in the Castle. For breakfast it's good but VERY crowded and we didn't get to see all the characters. Would do Donald's Safari Breakfast instead or if you want to see Pooh & Tigger, 1900 Park Fare - you also get Mary Poppins, Alice and the Mad Hatter so the character interaction is better there.

Artist Point - I really like this one too. I thought they had potato chive potstickers, which to me sounded delicious! The chef could probably also make you something special if your DF really wanted to eat there.

Some of our other favorites - Sci Fi, Hollywood Brown Derby, Liberty Tree Tavern (lunch), Kona Cafe (lunch) and the Yachtsman. I know the Yachtsman is a steak house but they have some veggie options and as with any Disney restaurant I'm sure they could make you something. They are very good at accommodating different dietary needs, so when you're there if you don't see something you like you could always talk to the chef. :thumbsup2 We have the best server ever at the Yachtsman, his name is Ricardo and he was so friendly and funny and spent a half hour talking to us after we finished our meal. :goodvibes

I'd definatly say stick to the ebay one. If you're concerned still i'd check the sellers feedback... see what other brides have said about ordering veils from them. I dont think you'll be disappointed :goodvibes

3 out of 5 pages! woot! (I almost went to a party....but I convinced myself that would be a very bad idea and now my friend is very mad at me..)

Love your "everything by my HW update" LOL. I totally feel the same way...such a procrastinator! Anyway, I feel the same way about flats...I love shoes that are different! One thing I found is "shoe clips" which are pretty fun! Here is one example...I am sure there are a lot more out there:

http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.ph...clips&ga_search_type=user_shop_ttt_id_7140017

I like the idea of shoe clips. they are super cute and super cheap....but still need shoes for them to go on! hahaha I have to decide. Why can't they make the same shows that are crazy high heels in flats? :confused3

Maybe I can use the "BUT its my Honeymoon!!" haha which their response probably would be..."then you should know better"

You are just the best! thanks for such a long awesome reply

Yeah I think i am going to bite the bullet! haha I am also only wearing it for the ceremony. that is if I wear it at all....still back and forth

I LOVE the shoes. but I feel like they may be too simple and I don't know if they would work with a shoe clip? My mom might tell me i'm crazy...maybe I can buy them anyway....I will still wear them even if its not for the wedding they are my type of shoe. I think its ironic how all the color available are my wedding colors! (I think I just want an excuse to buy them...)

I am very excited about Jiko and California!(fireworks!!!)
I wasn't completely set on Crystal Palace...I think I just like the building (or name...haha) you liked 1900 Park Fare? I wanted to do that and DF said no (I really don't know WHY?!) Must convince him then. I think he just wants to eat in the parks a lot. We were going to do Donald's as well (I love Donald he is my favorite!!) See this is why I shouldn't have done this by memory!!!

Hm...maybe I should call Artist point and see what I can do.

I'm disappoint about Spirit of Aloha....I was really looking forward to it. but so many people say no....just wanted a little Hawaii in our honeymoon! (we were originally going to Hawaii before we decided Disney was more us)

Is the lunch at Liberty Tree have characters or just good food? Thanks for all your suggestions! Now I have a lot more to think about!

I can't believe I forgot Cinderella's Royal table! we are SOOOOO doing that!!!

I'd definatly say stick to the ebay one. If you're concerned still i'd check the sellers feedback... see what other brides have said about ordering veils from them. I dont think you'll be disappointed :goodvibes

Thanks I think I will do that! Maybe it will be a treat to myself if I ever finish this stupid paper!!

Lol, I'm always too scared to try, I think they do have CM's guarding the area. Maybe I can walk really close to another family and pretend I'm with them! :rotfl2:

No problem, I love talking Disney food!

You know, DF didn't like 1900 Park Fare as much either and I'm not sure why. I really liked it and I thought the Mad Hatter was really funny and Alice was so sweet. He did love Tusker House though. Crystal Palace is really pretty and I liked the food, but I never got to meet Pooh, and every time we were next they would do that stupid parade and the characters would go away. :sad2:

We like Liberty Tree Tavern for lunch, they don't have characters at all anymore which is a shame because I really liked it when they did and dinner is Thanksgiving food, so we prefer lunch. The food is good and it's a relaxing break and perfect for when we're in MK. :thumbsup2

If you really want to do the Luau, you should definitely do it. I've never been but I have read some not so great reviews. I think any meal at the Poly though could give you that Hawaiian feeling. At Kona or Ohana you can still get the big drinks in pineapples. ;)

The fireworks from California grill were cool, and you can also see fireworks from Citricos and Narcoosee's. We saw them like four nights in a row and DF was getting a little tired of it. He does a really silly impression of the Wishes song though.

Ooh you could also do Rose & Crown and sometimes they will seat you on the patio during Illuminations which is awesome! We had the best seat one time when we ate there, they also have an amazing potato soup!

If you'd wear the shoes anyway, just get them and then you can decide if they'll be your wedding shoes. ;) I think if you found the right shoe clip it could work.

No POOH!? hahaha that sucks...I guess we will have to see. what fits where. is the 1900 park fare really girly? I don't get it...why don't they like it? I guess I have to pick the best character dining..DF will kill me if thats all we have! haha we were also thinking Chef Mickeys for breakfast one day!

I'm going to have to look into Ohana and Kona...wasn't even thinking about them because I was set on the Luau. Which would you say is your fave? Ohana you get leis right? (that how you spell it?!)

You can NEVER get sick of fireworks. We were also going to request a room at WL that you could see them...but I decided that with all the other chances we will have to see them it was better to have a lake view.

I didn't realize the Rose and Crown had a patio! We went there is the daytime and ate in the front. Potato soup! Yum

Ya know me and DF sat one day and went through all the restaurants menus..guess we didn't look at all of them. I need more research! hehehe then I will update my list

Just figured out on December 11 we can start booking! love the new 180 days

I think I might have to just buy them! haha....oh poor me, I get more shoes!

haha...i'm still at it. the paper was killing me so more ADR chatting!

Kona was my and DH's fav meal of our trip last christmas! The food was soooo good, and the service was great! Plus, there were no screaming children. The washroom in the Poly is closer to Ohana, and when I went to use it, I could hear how loud Ohana was, and did not enjoy the smell. (This is why I decided to cross it off the list for our ADRs again this time). But, I haven't actually eaten there, so I don't know!

I love how you said you didn't enjoy the smell....haha poor Ohana. DF freaked out when he saw that there was a Lilo and Stitch breakfast...so I guess I am taking my 'child' to Ohana but we def want to go to Kona for dinner or lunch!

I suggest going to Ohana for Breakfast! You can't go wrong with breakfast! And i have to agree i freaked when i saw stitch!!!! lol And lilo gave DF a wet willy it was pretty priceless!

Go for dinner! than you get the sweet bread with macadamia butter. It's heaven on earth....(insert drool here)

I didn't think it was really girly, I mean it looks like the rest of the GF which is kinda girly but DF loves the GF, so not sure what his deal was. :confused3 We also had the last seating so it wasn't crowded or anything either. We also went to Akershus this year, Princess Storybook breakfast and he liked that one, but that could have been because I let him take pictures with the princesses but he was disappointed Jasmine wasn't there. :lmao: That one was really fun too and the princesses were really sweet. Never been to Chef Mickey's. Cape May is another one, haven't been there yet either though, but it gets great reviews. And there's Ohana's Lilo & Stitch breakfast which we haven't done yet but is on the list, and your DF loves Lilo & Stitch, so that would be a perfect fit. :goodvibes

I've only been to Kona for lunch, it was really tasty. They have this coconut tart that is unbelievable, I could have eaten 10 of them. I seriously thought about going there another day and asking for some to go, but not sure if Disney really does that.

Lol, I know! I guess my DF is not really a huge fireworks fan, he could really take them or leave them, and at that point we'd seen Wishes like 5 times in a row and I think he just wanted to eat! :rotfl2:

Yeah, R&C have a patio out back, and the view is perfect, here's the view from the time we ate there and a little friend that visited while we ate there ;).

We were going to try Ohana but I chickened out, I heard it was really loud and crazy, but one day we'll try it.

Yum! Those look like some great choices! I think that's why we usually end up doing the Deluxe dining plan, just so I don't have to narrow anything down. ;)

Geez I was being a sleepy head you guys are already posting!

Sounds good to ME!!! Now i'm excited.

I love how the men shut up when they get pictures with princesses :lmao: I think I sold 1900 Park Fare last night to DF. It looks like a tea party and he really wants to meet the Mad Hatter (we couldn't find him last time...)

Sounds like Kona gets good reviews! so thats a must

DF is the opposite he LOVES fireworks and plans everything around them.

I love your pictures! thanks. i like your friend, I think he wanted your food.

We are doing Deluxe as well....but I don't know if we will have TIME to eat all this food haha.

LOL, well it's not everyday I let him take pictures with other girls. :rotfl2:
The Mad Hatter is so fun. Ask him for an autograph - I've heard he does something funny ;). I really liked the food there too and the late seating was awesome.

You also gotta find Minnie and show her your ring, her reaction is really funny since Mickey has never given her one!

Yeah, my friend also brought his girlfriend and they were both very interested in my cheese rolls!

Yay! We love the Deluxe plan! It does take time, but we usually do 2 meals a day. Breakfast or lunch and then a signature dinner or you could do a dinner show and we still get to see everything. If you wanted to take Disney trip planning to an all new level I really recommend Tour Guide Mike. It costs around $20 to join but if you follow it you will hardly wait on line. DF doesn't even know what it's like to wait on lines :lmao:, at first he thought I was crazy with my planning but now he's a believer! ;)
