Is this true all year or only in the busy months? We will be there the week after Thanksgiving and was planning on hopping there around 11:00. Would we be out of luck for Jedi Training?

We lucked out on a recent slow day at DHS and were able to get my nephew a spot at one of the later Jedi Training shows. We signed up around 11:15-11:30, I think his show was at 7:15 or something like that. We decided to check since it was a crummy weather day and the parks were slow. Fortunately there was a break in the rain and they were able to actually do the show for his time slot. We were really expecting not to be able to get in, so we just told nephew that we would see and hope for the best but that he may not get a chance.

I think our experience was not the norm. It is worth a try but if your kid has his or her heart set on doing it, I would get there early to ensure you get a spot.

We were able to request a mid-day time so as to not impact our morning touring.

One word of warnign on that (and a PP did hit on it). The shows are ALL weather dependant. If the weather for any afternoon looks spotty, you may just want to try and get an early show.

We did request a later show and were fortunate because it started pouring right after our show ended. If I would of just requested one time slot later, we would of been out of luck for the show.

They do ussually do a special meet and greet with Darth Vader and the Storm Troopers inside of a special room in Star Tours as a consolation for the rained out shows but this is not guaranteed.
