:furious: My AAA agent just tried to add the codes to our existing reservation for January and they told her they are sold out already!! :confused3 I need some Pixie Dust cause the magic is fading!!!

Call Disney yourself don't mention your current ressie and get the numbers. They'll already know you have a ressie I'm sure because they ask your phone # address etc. but I just saved money by NOT listening to my AAA agent. It's worth a shot.

Make sure you get a quote for all the package components your AAA agent is quoting you. This way it is a true comparison. # of days for tickets, nights staying, pfd or std. location of the room all that stuff Park hopper is suppose to be free. Give the code and try it out. You may even want to change your location.

I really don't want to lead you astray but my AAA agent didn't know what she was talking about and said that the POP disc was gone too. I had already called Disney and I called again and then called her. She then found out the AAA uses a different code than what the public gets. I just hope she doesn't mess this up. If we want it done right we have to do it ourselves. If you call Disney and they say no availability then I would believe it. Talk to two agents.

what are your dates? are they during the marathon? the place is pretty much sold out then. Or are they during MLK weekend...another busy time?

Can you get her to check again? (And again and again...) I called yesterday mid-morning and was only able to get the discount for part of our stay, so I broke the ressie up and took part at the discount, part at the rack rate I already had booked. Then I called back, determined to switch resorts to get the discount, and magically, the AP rate was available for the remainder of my stay at CBR. The first CM was really good, took her time for me, so I don't think she missed something necessarily, just that something changed.

We booked through AAA (CAA actually) last time and the agent ended up making a LOT of calls for us, but, as far as I recall, all b/c I asked her to. We did eventually get what we wanted, but note this time I'm a do it myselfer. ;)

We got the rate for Jan 25-Feb 4, then the second call I got it for Feb 4-10. Hoping the same thing works for me again, as I've decided I'd rather upgrade and do a split stay now, if I can get as good a deal elsewhere!

Barring that, would you be willing to try for another mod?

Good luck!! pixiedust:
