b&bw antibacterial stuff won't do anything to save you from the virus since a virus is not bacterial. I think purell, which is basically alchol and skin conditioners, will do the trick. You might want to pick up some of that instead.

Ok, Ok, guys....wow, I am impressed that if I get quarantinedd I'll have the show brought to me!!! Cool!!!. I also prefer Disney Dreams to Herc, but won't complain about anything!!!!

I will take on the decision of saying LET'S MEET IN THE PROMENADE LOUNGE (DECK 3), AFTER THE LIFEBOAT DRILL, BUT BEFORE THE SAILAWAY PARTY. My reason being, who knows what each of us will be up to at lunchtime on the first sea day .....if we meet on the first afternoon it will be a short visit and won't interfere with everybody's else plans.....we can all meet and then see each other and catch up at other activities onboard!!! Should we wear name tags like HI....MY DIS NAME IS MMOUSE37 BUT MY REAL NAME IS MARY JANE, AKA... MJ!!!!

I do plan on tying a lime green pipe cleaner (don't have time to go buy ribbon) on my bag so I should be easy to spot in the terminal. If all goes well I will be near the front of the line.

I just bought Disney Trivial Pursuit!!! I wonder which TP edition they play onboard....should I bring the cards on the cruise and if it's Disney edition we could cheat...LOL!! Only kidding... Anyone up for Pictionary???? I am a lousy drawer (is that a even a word) but think the game is fun.

I also want to go to Disney Trivia...I love Disney trivia. I won the medal on our last cruise and want to play again, but just for fun, not to win.

We plan on going to all the theme nights in the clubs...they are a hoot and the game show Match Your Mate....very funny...at least is was the last two times we went. Alot depends on how much the contestants want to divulge!!!!

It is official we rescheduled from Feb/Mar 10 day land & sea to the 7 day Western I tried to keep up with the list of DIS'ers ~ but lost track around page 14! If there is anyone keeping up the list we are Chad (32) Jon (31) and our girls Bre (9) and Krissy (7). I would like for the girls to have a ready made friend (s)when we board. So, please email me or pm me if anyone has girls that age.

boy do I have alot of planning to do ~I need to find out all the things that isn't offered on the 4 day so I can do them!!!

Glad you could join us. There seems to be quite a few girls that would be around your daughters ages. My daughter (Sandy) is 5 and plays very well with older girls in her after-care program. I'm sure your girls will have a wonderful time making friends. Everyone on this board has been so friendly and helpful. I'm sure they can answer any questions you have. I'll be glad to throw in any info I have that may help.

I think I have passed the 1/4/03 cruise initiation test. I read all 21 pages of this thread.

I took notes while I was reading and have a list of all the cruisers that have checked in so far, their names, hometowns, special occasions and cabin numbers (if given). I would be happy to post it or email.

I think we need to set up a couple of different meets. How about a sail-away party meet and a lunch meet too? We need to decide soon because some people are leaving in the next week.

I would gladly volunteer to make name tags for anyone who would want one. I love making labels!!!! Anyway, when Tink33 posts the list I'll make them. If anyone DOES NOT want one, just let me know. Also, if you want your real name as well as your screen names, let me know that too!!!!

I also have to find my box of bubbles.....I bought two boxes for our last cruise and only brought one box with us. I know I have another box somewhere!!! They are the small white wedding size bubbles and I had made labels for them with the sailing date and a cute cruise logo on them.

And if I can't find a lime-green anything in the next two weeks, I'll be the obnoxious blonde climbing the walls and hanging from the ceiling (has been known to happen--just ask mrp4352, aka "Shell"). See earlier comment about courageous DH turning invisible upon occasion.

And for clarification, SHELL, you are banned from Monopoly not because you won too fast but because you play MEAN and DIRTY, and very unladylike. (P.S. Thanks for teaching me some of your tricks later. I wonder if I still have my travel version, or is that simply asking for punishment??)

Hey, Rebekah, I can sound like a horn without even trying!! Totally tone deaf, you wouldn't recognize the tune, but you would definitely get the horn effect!

I'm definitely getting jazzed for this, I'll have to see what God-awful lime green I can find (DH is a sport, maybe I'll just paint his face!).

mmouse37, you definitely seem to have spare time on your hands (or, more likely, will put tons of effort into labels and stuff, but haven't folded the laundry for weeks--I'm very guilty of stuff like this, but hey, my Brownie troop loves the crafts we do!). Anyway, I'm all in favor of labels with both "screen" and "real" names--I don't remember if I already put them but we are:

My problem is that I really don't have tons of spare time...I am just addicted to this board.....I still have lots of shopping, have not wrapped anything....need to grocery shop for Christmas Day, etc....no more busy than anyone else these days....

I would consider doing the labels as a labor of love!!!!

My kids fight me all the time for computer use. They come home from school and see me at the computer and all I hear is....gee, MOM must be on the DIS board again!!! My husband knows I am addicted and says there cannot possibly anyone else like me but I tell oh yes there is!!!!! They crack up when I update them about what is going on onboard the ship and in the world of DCL....they are pretty good about humoring (sp) me!!

Thanks, Michelle! And ditto on all your "thanks," too. I don't have lime green anything, but will a brilliant orange do? That way I'll be sure to clash (which may be better than trying to coordinate and clashing accidentally).

Also thanks for the hesitation on declaring me from DC... (I'm an adopted Texan, although there is no official recognition that there IS such a thing.)

We're still keeping our fingers crossed for an upgrade. If we get the Walt or Roy suites, everyone will be welcome to join us for a cocktail. If not, I guess we'll just see you at the Promenade Lounge right after the drill!!
