Hi Everyone! I'm back! I am SO sorry for worrying some of you! We're still getting married, still getting on the cruise, still taking the five youngest with us! Candy, I'm sorry for not returning your phone call in early December...one of the kids erased the message and your number!!
Well, where to start?

Around Thanksgiving, I realized I was not getting done what I needed to for the holidays, wedding and cruise. So I grounded myself from the puter until I got caught up. Never feel you are so busy it can't get busier...because it did!
I had 14 for dinner Thanksgiving...extras always seem to show up at the last minute. It was lovely, tho. Then I took my two youngest to the outlets for a few days to get some Christmas shopping done. Thought I was getting caught up a little??
First week in December, one of my daughters-to-be asked if she could move in with me before the wedding. Of course, I was thrilled and said yes...she is a darling girl! That required redoing a back bedroom...paint, carpet, furniture, curtains...we're still not quite there, but close. I'm not even going to stress over the fact that Ernie and I haven't even started buying furniture for our bedroom!
Around then, Freddie called. They may not be getting home in time from their six-month deployment for the New Year. They've been told that with everything going on, it may be extended for several months! Add on some worry to the back burner.
At that point, I still did not have a wedding dress!!

I'm thinking I better get moving. So move I did...right down the stairs on my backside! Besides some broken nails and bruised arms and legs, I severely bruised my tailbone. I think I would have rather broken a leg! Sitting was impossible for a couple of weeks, and driving in a car was torture. Ever try to chase a two-year old down when every step sends shock waves up your spine!

But onward we must go, and so we did.
I got a dress two weeks ago, thank goodness. Found out that two of the kids were bringing extra people for Christmas, so did a little more shopping. Made it to the Christmas Party at Ernie's work (Philly Zoo)! My family came out last weekend for our Christmas day, and my sister gave me a surprise Bridal Shower!
Last week, I thought I may make it...things were slowing down. We even got a chance to start trying on summer clothes. OH NO.

My girls have grown...and that is an understatement. The clothes I bought at the end of the summer in anticipation of the cruise are TOO SMALL! I've told them to leave the miracle grow alone, but noooo...who listens to Mom!
Add on to that homeschooling, one National karate tournament, one Karate testing (Ashleigh won an award and both girls broke their boards!), trying to start packing up Ernie's apartment a little, eye infections in both dogs, and cold's for everyone...well, you get the picture!
Dresses are fitted, Freddie got home on the 20th (prayers answered), tuxes ordered, tickets in hand, and presents wrapped and opened. We had 15 yesterday, and it was wonderful to see our "new family" sitting around enjoying each other. Somehow it makes every second of panic totally worth it!
SO...I'm back, and getting married in 8 days!!

To repeat the invite, anyone who will be at the Radisson Friday night at 6 pm is welcome to join us for the nuptials. We are getting married at a nearby park, so you will need a car. Shirley is still marrying us...she is SO wonderful and you can't imagine all that her and Norm have been doing for us!
Again, I'm sorry for any worry...and thrilled to see our little crowd is growing! Where and when exactly are any get togethers...I'm a little confused!

Can't wait to meet you all!!!
