Yes, all guests staying at a Disney resort can use the Magical Express service. It doesn't matter who you used to book the resort reservation. But you will have to contact Magical Express yourself. You can call them or just register using the website.

Sorry, I should of been more clear. I am hoping for more than a 15% discount for January, even if I have to cancel my reservation and re-book.

I went to the Orbitz website to check the prices for our January trip and the room discount was only 15% for the WL. Usually the general public discount is 30% for deluxe resorts during this time in January. So I am going to wait to see what the discount will be later. Once Disney releases their discounts, Orbitz can offer the additional discount on top of the Disney discount. That is how we got a 37% discount on our BC room last April.

So I was checking like everyone else on availability for the last week of January... and now the site is saying "Booking is currently unavailable. We’re working to restore availability as soon as possible. Please check back later." when looking up CBR.

Maybe there is something strange happening.

You're right -- none of the Disney-operated hotels are showing up in Orbitz's system right now.

Last year, I booked the first day the early spring discounts came out. Interestingly, I was able to book them on Orbitz hours before 6am, when they became available to book through Disney.

I'm just hoping for a 15% -- or better yet, 20% -- discount with no cap from Orbitz when the new discounts arrive.

Orbitz's website will show the price of the room, and whether or not it has Disney's discount. To get an additional discount on top of that, you'll need to enter a discount code. Recently, they started capping a lot of their codes at a maximum of $150, but occasionally they'll have sales where you can still get 15% off the total.

I'm checking for early March, and when I search for on property hotels, only Swan, Dolphin, and Four Seasons come up. Still no Disney hotels showing for my dates.

You should call as soon as the discounts become available to see if you can apply it to your existing reservation. They've been limiting discounts, so there are less available, which means you'll want to call ASAP.

just bite the bullet and booked our 1-27 thru 2-2 and waiting for the discounts--I asked the CM if there was a code or pin by my name and he said no but he said to keep watching---I asked just before we got off the phone if he knew when the discount would come out--he said around the end of sept beginning of oct--but once again he said keep watching!!! which I have been

he was really pushy about booking me into a package--he said the rate would be the same but there were some perks--he talked pretty fast so I couldnt follow must of what he said--does any one know what kind of perks if you book a package also it seems they changed there time when the deposit has to be in--you used to get a week now its 3 days

Sounds like he said that because they will be doing the stay play and dine offer.....that's the discount we have gotten the last several years that we have gone in January/February.... You have to get a package with dining to qualify though

I have a room and tickets package already reserved at ASMovies. If a SPD deal comes out will I be able to add dining and apply the discount? Or do I have to have a dining plan already in place?
