Add me to the compulsive watchers... up early to check the Disney website followed quickly by a log in here to see if any of you have any insight... Nobody but us Disney crazies gets it... but I say to my husband... You'll be happy I'm Disney crazy if I can save us hundreds of $$$$$$

OK here's a question for you all... Do discounts only come out at the beginning of the week or can they come out any day? For example, can we all take a break from being compulsive LOL or should we all keep checking at 6:00 AM EST daily??

So I too am impatiently waiting. I really thought something would come out today since there isn't anything on the site. I do have a disney visa so I will keep watching that too. Anyone know about PIN codes and how to increase getting one?

For free dining in the fall, they didn't offer early access to Disney Visa cardholders, so I wouldn't count on that. In fact, if I remember correctly, there were rumors swirling about the release but NO ONE knew until the morning that the discount was actually released. It was insanity for at least 3 days while everyone tried to get the discount applied to their reservations.

Maybe they changed it but I received a message in July and a specific advance booking email in March of this year. I will keep my fingers crossed and check anyways.

Edited to add - the emails I received were for resort only specials. Which is what I am hoping for. If not, I am going anyways but it would just be nice to save a little.

It might also be nice if they'd delete the banner on the website that is promoting the discount that expired Sept 18th. It's till there today.

JMO, weeks might be a bit long. I'm thinking it will be shorter. I'm sure the phone CM's (even if they knew) can't drop hints. So, instead, whatever they say they will be sure to make it nice and long. I agree with the Eek, though. Good word.

Just for fun, what is everyone's guess on date and promotion?
I am guessing Monday, October 5th release with a lesser SPD discount than last year and room only to follow a couple of days later.
What is your guess??

I'm guessing Monday Oct. 5th too....was just hoping that they did do the Visa early promotion to shorten the call time. When they open the discount to everyone at once its crazy! BTW, I'm actually traveling in Feb but your board is much more fun and informative!!

Can someone explain to me what the SPD promo is about? I seem to cant remember. I know it means Stay Plan and Dine.
