This is what I see when I look at the offers page - doesn't the book through Oct 16 mean you can book until then? I'm Canadian though - maybe it takes me to a different page?

I belive we (Canadians) have longer to book the Fall offers. I noticed we had way longer to book the Free Dining that just passed. I think that only ended last week for us. Not that much of anything was left for free dining. But I was pricing it out recently.
I see October 16th as the book by date as well.

Ah, I see. Yeah, our google machines here in the States shows us that the current Fall offers (Room discount and "Kid Sized Package) must be booked by 9/18. With that said, Disney historically always has some type of room discount on the deals page. When this one expires, at least on the US search engines, they'll want to have something in line to replace it. Keeping fingers crossed for a return of FD, but more than likely it'll be Stay, Play and Dine…..

we are looking to go the last week of January again this coming year. I checked my emails from this past January and our travel agent sent me an email on 10/6 saying she applied the Stay, Play, and Dine discount. Did save us $1300 for our family of 4 stay at BC club level. Hoping for something similar this year but October seems sooooo far away.

Not that this means anything, but I got an email from my TA last week that said she'll be out of the office the week of September 20 for their company-wide training, but that they will stop the training if any discounts come out so that they can work to apply them to any applicable reservations. My thought was that maybe the speculation that I've read that the new offers will come out next week since the current offers expire on Friday is accurate. Otherwise it was just an oddly specific email to send.

Read somewhere that someone was seeing lots of room types not being available for some historically low crowd weeks this winter. I just searched 2/1-2/6. CBR, CS, and POR all show no standard (as well as other various room types) available. Now, I'm no expert, but there is no way all of those rooms are booked for that week. They are getting things ready for a promo drop. Another post said why would they take rooms out of the inventory just to discount them in a week or two. Good point. I have no idea. But the current offers (at least in the US) end on 9/18. Get ready folks!

So what is everyones guess as to what day the discounts will come out? Since the current ones end on Friday, how long would they wait to have the new ones come out?

Looks like last year it was beg of October .. just wondering if we are going to have to wait another couple weeks or it will be sooner bc the current discount is done on 18th.

But would they do that? I thought they normally would only offer discounts on resorts that are not filling up
