Yes, I paid the same. That's been the price for quite some time, varying by about $10 up and down. I'm used to paying a lot more because we often book last minute and during holidays so under $300 pp is a bargain to me.

Waiting for January as well. Booked the Dolphin in the mean time. Disney prices will have to be very good to tempt us to change. Right now the deluxes are around $430-460 for our weekend (MLK.). We booked a 1 bedroom suite for about $460 and a 2 bedroom suite for about $750. Haven't figured out how low Disney prices world have to go to convince me to switch back!

I check every day to see if there is any news, even though I know history indicates it will be October before discounts come out. I just want to book the darn trip and available discounts will determine if we are staying onsite or off. Sigh.. I'm impatient .

Me too. As a result of Disney's hotel price increases over the years, I won't stay at a Disney hotel without a room discount or dining deal, so I am eagerly awaiting what they may offer for Jan/Feb 2016. I am also considering one of Universal's hotels as a change for my family's next Florida trip. Hopefully we'll find out sooner than later about Disney's Jan/Feb deals. We're only a couple days from September, so that means October (if that's when Disney releases Jan/Feb discounts) is not too far off.

Hoping for a really great early January deal. We are going Jan 2-11 & staying at the Poly. We love POFQ & have stayed there our last 2 trips, but we are renewing our vows for our 20th anniversary and decided to splurge a little. Well...a lot. But...it's super convenient since we are going to renew our vows at Luau Beach, so it makes things a little easier to just be in one place. Our teenage daughters are going with us, so I need all the discounts & pixie dust I can get LOL!!!

Also hoping for a good offer. We have gone a couple of times in October and in January. We prefer the weather in October, but the crowds are better in January.

I'll be watching this thread, and looking for the promotion announcements, too. Hopefully, being a Disney Visa holder will help out a bit with the timing.

I've noticed over the past few years that Disney doesn't like to have their "special offers" page empty of deals. Take note that the current room discount and another "package deal" must be booked by 9/18. If my theory is correct, we may see some winter deals show up right after that date. It wouldn't be too out of the ordinary as a few years back, winter deals came out during the first week of September. It's only been the last could of years that the winter deals were released in early October. It's all a big crap shoot, but we shall see…..

Interesting you say that... Last year the holiday time period deals expired on 10/3 and the Disney Visa deals for winter came out on 10/6. If these expire 9/18 and they stick with the early October release they'd have nothing out for 3 weeks...Could that mean an earlier release, cross your fingers!

Waiting.....impatiently... but determined... stalking the Special Offers & Deals page. With room prices increasing and fewer discounts, this is probably my last chance to get my dream stay at GF. We are planning on the last week of January 2016 or first week of February 2016, when prices are at their lowest for the year. I just got a Disney Visa, I have an AP and am a Florida Resident, so hopefully will be able to get a RO discount with one of those. If I can't get something before the first week of November of this year, we will be at BWI for F&W, maybe can get a bounceback.

This time of year always stresses me out. What I would love is the Free Dining Discount. However, I know that unfortunately we will probably never see that again in January. So I settle and try to justify the cost with the SPD discount. However, it gets harder every year. My biggest fear is that they will release an even more inferior discount. We would have to cut some of the things that we love most about our Disney Vacation. So then I wonder what my breaking point would be. How much am I willing to pay if my family's expectations are not being met?

I have Pop booked for the last week of February right now, but I'd jump up to a mod (or even deluxe) for the right discount ... I'm taking my mother for her first trip (first time out of New England!) and the week will end with my daughter's birthday. They both know I booked Pop, would be a nice surprise (that I KNOW my husband would be on board for) to stay at CBR or BCR again. Those pools are the best!

We share the same birthday . And I agree, a discount like that would be a terrific present. I'm anxiously watching multiple threads & sites for possible military discounts & whatever winter discounts come out for end of January.
