I want to book for January, just sitting here waiting for FD to be announced , I don't know how much longer I can stand it...

I have been making a game plan and started planning, but now I am ready to book it.... PLeasssssssssssssssssse let free dinning come out.

This trip will mean so much to my mom (70th birthday surprise), and it will be our 1st mother daughter only trip. I am so excitied to book and really get into planning.
I want to make ADR's I am sure of the dates, but might be able to stretch another night if FD works out. I am pretty sure should I go ahead and make them. Should I go ahead and make them at least?

I'd go ahead and make your ADRs so that you've got what you want. You can always cancel. You have to use a credit card to reserve some restaurants but as long as you cancel up to a day before then you won't get charged anything. There are a few that you pay in advance but I'm not sure what their cancellation policy is. I've made all my ADRs but my dates are set. I'm just waiting to book to see what WDW has to offer

I agree, make your ADRs. If you have to tweak your dates, you can add or subtract then, but at least you have something ready to go. I had no problem getting what I wanted at 180 out, so you should pretty much have your pick right now.

We made all of our ADRs and booked the rooms and flights, now we are just waiting to see if a deal comes along for our dates!! Not so patiently waiting...

I didn't book my flights in case we have to tweek our day by one or two but otherwise we are ready. i haven't booked my flights for my son's bday trip and that's in 38 days!

The anticipation is killing me. I hate not knowing what's going on!

Don't the always release visa discounts first? Has anybody seen any of them yet even? I agree very frustrating waiting for discounts of any kind right now.

Seems like the Visa discounts are usually released a few days ahead of the general public. I haven't seen/heard anything yet from Disney Visa.

I thought based on last year's release date, they would have had something by now.

We didn't book airfare yet as we didn't know if we would have to tweak our days.

Well airfare just jumped from $225 to $410. Craptastic!

I may be wrong, but I think that any Disney promotions have to be booked through Disney. Plus, you cannot stack promotions so if your room is at all discounted, FD will not work. Also, FD is part of a package so you have to buy tickets with the room and dining. Actually, you have to buy a package with room and tickets to get the meal plan, period (unless you are DVC or AP).
Also, it appears that FD is not typically offered marathon weekend.

Thank you Bephus! I ended up calling RunDisney and it turns out that the information I received over the phone the last time was incorrect. I worked with a lovely CM who hooked me up with a Magic Your Way Package with the DP and everything is all set! Also, I did ask about FD and she said that there was a very slim possibilty that it might be available during the Marathon. If it does become available (which would be amazing) then I would need to cancel my reservation and rebook with the Disney Vacation hotline.

based on last year's timing this should've been out by now. should i interpret this as if disney may not do the free timing this time around?

For us about three months before our departure date is when Southwest airlines fares seem the least expensive.

We are all booked at BWV but I need one night since we will be arriving at midnight on 1/15. Hoping for an AP discount of some sort
