Day 25 - A picture of your favorite childhood Disney memory.

Since my first trip to Disney World was when I was 26 years old, it obviously can’t be a park memory. I think I’ll go with my first movie that I saw in a movie theater – Snow White. I was only about 5 and my cousin who lived beside us and babysat me frequently (which is strange b/c I don’t ever remember my parents going out anywhere so I wonder why we needed a babysitter) took me and my sister. Anyway, since that’s my first Disney memory I will call it my favorite.

Whoot whoot!! I say if the door isn't closed, then it's open for a trip!! And if it is closed, then just go out the window!:rotfl2:

Wow -- I never saw that Nemo before? Was that out the first year Nemo came out?

I like the way you think:rotfl:

I just looked it up and Finding Nemo was released in 2003 and this was from our Thanksgiving 2004 trip. I think this was around the time they started revamping the Seas area of EPCOT. We've never seen him out on any other trip we've taken.

Thanks for the info! Yeah, I hadn't seen him either but it makes sense with the movie coming out the year before and then revamping the Seas ... would be cute to see him again.

My DD2 is really getting into the Finding Nemo movie -- I can't wait to go to the show at AK so she'll get to see it on-stage!

Day 26: A picture of the way you keep Disney alive when you’re not at the park

Disney is all around us everywhere. Here's the wallpaper on my phone

12 days until we leave and how should I celebrate - why 45 minutes on the phone with Disney reservations of course!!! :rotfl:

Tyler's been trying to improve his grades I've decided to add him back to the reservation but don't plan to tell him until a day or 2 before we leave to make him continue to be motivated.

And on better terms, Janet's nephew Alex is now going to be joining us as well. I'm excited for him as this will be his first trip but that means trying to add another person onto a reservation already for 12. In some cases I was able to accomplish this but in others I'm being creative and making a separate reservation for 2 and hope that we can be seated together. Jess, Janet and I were really happy with the way our dining reservations were so we didn’t want to have to move dinner till 8 pm to accommodate adding an extra person – so I’m hoping that they can seat us together.

And as yet another side note – it’s snowing it’s butt off outside and I’m planning a Florida vacation for next week!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Day 27: A picture of the person you most love sharing Disney with

My family of course (here’s a family photo from each of our trips)

Love seeing how the family increases and gets older. So much fun!

You have a beautiful family!:thumbsup2

Day 28: A picture of your favorite place to hide from the crowds

Country Bear Jamboree - it’s air conditioned and there is never many people in line to see it

Day 29: A picture of something you dream about happening to you at a Disney park

When I was little I loved the Full House Disney episode(s) where they went to Disney. I used to dream that I would pull the sword from the stone and get to do all the neat things that Michelle did and Stephanie envied – lol

Oh, and for an update, Tyler has improved his grades and been begging me like crazy to add him back. Well the other day when I called and added Janet's nephew to her reservation, I caved and added Tyler back to mine. He doesn't know it yet, I've packed for him but told him that his stuff is seperate so that I can easily just leave it here if his report card isn't where I think it should be (I've been following his grades online so I know he's improved)

Congrats to Tyler!! So now you know what motivates him!!!

I know your heart will be complete if you can ALL travel together -- I'm so happy for you!:cool1:

Day 30: A picture that always makes you think of Disney

This is the desktop of my computer at work – always makes me smile.

I spy Pal Mickey!!! LOL We still have ours and take him with us each time, even if he just sits in the room. I love the way he giggles!

YAY YAY for Tyler turning it around and joining the party. and :woohoo: for you to be able to change all those reservations. wow that had to be fun (not!)

and :yay::yay: for four more days.

We still have Pal Mickey too, but he just stays in Tyler's room. He did make a trip back to Disney when Tyler was in the 4th grade, we sent him with Ty's teacher and her girls loved him. He may have went again in 2009 but I don't remember having him along with us. I didn't know that he would still work - that's cool!!!

I'm glad Tyler will be joining us too, he still doesn't know it and is still begging me to add him back on. Ahhhh the joys of reservations - for larger parties :headache:

I actually made another change yesterday. So we can suck every bit of magic out of our vacation that is possible we are now going to the MK on Thursday and EPCOT on Friday for evening EMH. I had us ending our trip at the MK but really my kids favorite park is EPCOT so it only made sense to be able to end our trip there and at midnight if we choose. I canceled our Crystal Palace reservation and was able to get into the princess breakfast for Friday. Janet is afraid that her newphew will be too overloaded with girly stuff so I made them a reservation for dinner on Thursday at Crystal Palace that they'll pay for OOP but Jess and I agree that we can pass on it.

And I am very excited to announce that we'll be leaving in approximately 50 hours to begin our journey

Just wanted to say "see you in Disney!" (Hopefully Monday night if not sooner).
