We are arriving in December and finishing in January! We'll be there until Jan. 5 at Pop Century. This is will be DD(8)'s first Disney trip, and I don't know if she can wait another 180 days to get there!

We'll be there January 16th - 23rd. We have been there 3 times in January, and really enjoy the cooler weather. The past 3 years we have been going in summer, and it's really hot! We were supposed to go this August because I had made decision to no longer take kids out of school, but I started a new job this year, and couldn't get the time in August-- so January it is. Everyone is happier that we are going in January. We're staying at the Beach Club. Hope we get a day warm enough to take a dip in the pool!

Count us in, for mid-January. Just booked our room for AKL Club Lvl!

Wish we could have held out until the 2011 rates were released, but I wanted to make certain we had our res # in plenty of time for when my window opens up for reserving the Safari & dining. We paid the higher deposit, and will simply take an adjustment on our total later (with plans to switch to AAA rates, then hopefully a special code deal if one is announced this fall).

Basic Itinerary (with dining choices) is already planned out, Auto-train booked, tickets purchased. Now we just get to sit back, watch as our total bill is adjusted downwards (Thanks Emily!), wait for confirmation on our ADRs and Safari booking , and count down the days 'til 2011!

We are planning on going Jan. 24th - Feb. 1. I haven't done a thing yet... waiting for rates to be released. And I'm patiently waiting to make dining res online.

I'm so excited! Our very first WDW visit was this past April. It was perfect weather, as far as I'm concerned, so I'm a little nervous for Jan. weather. Let's hope it's not record lows again!

We are heading there on Jan 23 til Feb 5 ...woo hoo 2 weeks at the World! We will be staying at Pop and definately are doing the dining plan...I'm so excited!!! Our newest child will be celebrating her 1st birthday while we are there.

Ok - is anyone else excited that free dining was extended? I know "they" said no more discounts, but the fact that they extended FD gave me hope that there will be a deal for January/February...

I am Soooo hoping for some kind of discount. 4/3 w/ gift card, would be best (deal we got last time), but I'd take free dining.
I have room only ressie booked so I can make dining res. Getting excited to do that. I hope that I can get all that I want.

I have never planned this far out - how did you decide on your days in order to plan out your meals? I have only a few weeks left to figure this out! (Right now I'm thinking touring plans and the Jan. hours link that someone posted??)

I use touring plans crowd calculator for planning my days. It soooo helpful.

Yes, last time we went, we have the 4/3 deal plus a gift card. It paid for 2 of our charactor meals!

We've just decided today that we are going January 3-9 and my parents are going to join us for three or four days! I've wanted them to have the chance to share Disney with our kids for years and finally we're going to make it happen.

I'm nervous because I hear about people booking room only and getting their ADRs made already and we're just going to call with some questions tomorrow. We have to find out about the two bedroom villas with lock off at OKW. That is what we plan to book but since my parents are leaving and we'll not be taking the lock off room for the last four days I am hoping they won't be expected to take the park ticket and dining package for the whole length of our stay, but only for the three days they will be there and using the second lock off bedroom.

Once we get the questions answered and figure out exactly what we are doing, then we'll get going on the bookings.
