Since I had to be home from work today (oldest DS was sick with a stomach bug) I figured why not call and get the 5/2 deal added to our Grand Gatherings in January. I was on hold for over 10 minutes and finally got Ames. He's such a sweet cast member - and just happened to be the one I booked all 3 reservations with initially. He added the 5/2 deal to our already existing package at ASMo for January 21-30. It didn't really save us too much....it was only about $250 off the initial package for the 4 of us......but my mother-in-law put it in good perspective when I called to tell her. She said, "well, look at it this way. That's the cost of one plane ticket reimbursed.....OR.....$250 MORE THAT YOU CAN SPEND WHILE YOU'RE THERE." I love this woman!!!!!!!

Hi! Last night my husband saw that the 4/3 deal is being offered, so he called WDW last night and had our reservation changed to use the 4/3 deal. We are staying at Coronado Springs. I am so excited that we were able to take advantage of this offer. Every little bit of savings counts.

I am so anxious to start figuring out my ADR's and touring plan!!!

BTW, if anyone has any old gold laying around, you know those broken chains, single earrings, consider finding a gold buyer and get rid of it. Don't use those stupid TV offers, but ask around and find a person in your area who does it. I just did this with someone last night and made enough to add two days to my vacation!!!!!! I was so excited. If someone in the NYC area is interested I can give you the number to the person I used. Just do your research for current gold prices (which is around $990 per ounce of 24K), weight your gold, and subtract about 25% (which is a fair buying cut) and that's about what you'll get from a fair guy. (If you have 18K or 14K there is a scale to subtract from the $990 to find out what the weight per ounce would be...just google it!) I was so excited to get this little windfall last night, and its was only things sitting in my box for the past 5 years not getting touched!

you can add me to the list of january planners,we are headed down on jan 2-9th at WLV, my first DVC stay (on rented pts).
we did the 4-3 deal last year,stayed at CSR,it was great(and the year before ASmovies).
this year was booked completely on a whim,after not being able to tear myself from this site and others like it,reading mousejunkies and anticipating wayyyy to much our dec AKL gathering we were planning,I could not control the urge.
finding the pts at a decent price is like an auction as well,find them and strike before someone else takes em,lol ! i think it added to the excitement!
I am excited that we will arrive the day before they take down the christmas decorations and that we will see the osbourne lights!
I am also desperatly seeking low air fare,i just cannot get as good a deal(or even close to it) as last year. we may just be driving down from montreal!
well,i will try and read the rest of the posts,i have alot of catching up to do.

It does not spell out park hopper tickets, or which dining plan we picked.

A women after my own heart. DD(15) and I will be there Jan.1 to Jan. 6. A semi-celebration for her being accepted to a local charter school and a make up trip. Mom went with the girls on free dining earlier this month without us, so the two of us are going to have our getaway. Hope you guys have fun.
