Has anyone been watching the Orlando weather? It has been kind of chilly, but I see it is warming up this week - highs ranging from 65-83. That would be perfect for our trip!!

It is absolutely freezing here, but we are supposed to hit 40 tomorrow. Woohoo a heat wave!!

Okay, I'm off to make something warm for dinner - chicken & dumplings.

Ok, so I got about half of my Christmas cards done. Basically the really important ones....grandpa, aunts/uncles, close friends. That way if the motivation train never stops here, it's ok, cus at least those are done!

It's icky out now. I just got back from Wal-mart and it took me 45 minutes to get home. Normally only 15 minutes, max.

Weather tomorrow...high 30 however SNOW....LOTS OF SNOW! We are supposed to have anywhere between 4-8" by day break, with total snow falls between 7-14". ICK!!!!!!!!

We got Magical mail today! DH opened it and said it was ME tickets and tags. As well as vouchers etc.

I assume our tickets will be given to us with our room keys like last time?

OMG 38 DAYS I have TOOOOOOOOO much to do for 38 days , especially with Christmas mixed in!

Hey everyone! I am a very busy little beaver as of late! Not too much time to sit around and chat! Just wanted to let you all know that I am alive and well and thinking of you all and hoping that you are happy and warm! 42 days for me! No disney mail yet, hopefully soon though! My 45 day mark just passed last Friday so I expect them relatively soon! Any word from Wendy yet? Will she be in the hospital for a long time?

I had to laugh when I read your post. I too just got back from Wally World. However my car said it was 71* AT 7:45 AT NIGHT!!!! And boy is it ever humid! Like you stepped into a shower! I thought of all you frozen birds and wished for a little of your snow to make it's way down here.
And then I thought that since Houston weather is very similar to Orlando weather this might be a little taste of what was to come. I am now thinking of packing shorts. I can't even believe it myself!

Hi all! I also get the goosebumps when Linus gives his little speech "that's what Christmas is all about Charlie Brown."

My DH and I met at a Cracker Barrel! I still love their Chicken and Dumplin's -it's what I ate there most of the time. He was a cook and I was a cashier. Not love at first sight. I'm sure I looked highly fashionable in my brown apron! The one we worked at near here has closed. There are still two left out of four in MN. We often stop at them when we travel. The girls like to play the big checkers!

Still snowing here. Not too cold (relatively speaking of course) it's 23 degrees! We're supposed to get about 3 inches tonight. Not too bad.

Does anyone else notice that when they post the time is never right? I post and the time shows up about a half hour off! Weird! Right now it's 8:33. Let's see what it says on my post!

Charlie Brown Christmas has to be the only Christmas show that can get away with quoting Luke 2 from the Bible! That scene is just amazing! I tear up when the circle around the tree and sing Hark the Herald Angels sing...what a beautiful scene. I miss the genius that was Charles Schultz

Well, I just went online and paid off our packages!! WHEW! Of course, now it's just going to be on my HUGE Visa bill next month! But, I will get a TON of Disney Rewards, since we put my MIL and SIL's room on our card!

I don't like the website when you go to make a payment, they don't direct you to the next page showing you that it confirms your payment. It just takes you to some random My Vacation Plans page. Good thing they send an email right away. It's not easy to get a simple confirmation that the payment went through right there on the site. ARRGH! Okay. I'm done.

Got my girls' the last two little gifts (I think!) today. At least they're done. They are usually where I spend the most too! Everything else I have left to buy is relatively inexpensive.

I paid for 4 adult 9 day Park Hopper tickets on my Chase credit card. I got the bill today and just about fainted. I had completely forgotten about the tickets and thought someone had stolen my card! Until I saw what it was, laughed and then told everyone to pay up by the 28. I really don't think I've ever seen the big of a number . I'm glad I have 3 other people to help pay it off!

Ok, I'm off to bed now. It's getting nasty here. No idea if I'll really be working tomorrow or not. Take care everyone. Stay warm!

Hello all...just spent the whole entire evening at a car dealer trading in my car. Got a 2006 Chevy Equinox which will be wonderful on our drive down in 47 days!!! Nice and roomy. I guess we got a decent deal. WHO KNOWS!!! All I know is my car was at 120000miles and needed new brakes and several other little things, so we dumped it while the dumping was good, and we weren't TOO upside down on the pay off. I just HATE car dealers and the whole "game"! Glad it's over and my payment didn't go up too much!

Congrats on the new car...My sister and I just leased new cars in June - 2008 Jeep Liberty. I had a wonderful experience at the dealership...though it helped that my aunt used to work there and many families including my mom have bought their cars from that salesperson. When we were looking we had a very difficult time at the Saturn dealer and we had 2005 Ions to trade in...they keep giving us the run around, even to my Mom when she went in with us.

I can really see why some dealers are having trouble...I really think it depends just has much on the service as it does the car. It also helps to go to one you know.
