We are stuck at homet his morning because my lovely husband took off to work with DD's carseat in his car.

I have less than 4 weeks until Disney!

An answer from all of my infinite knowledge and wisdom from being a Mommy for a whole five years!:rotfl:;) Multiple cars seats are the way to go, one for each car (and each child). We have enough car seats to outfit a small country!

That's what we always did too, one car seat per child per vehicle! Still do - DS7 is still in a booster seat. One for each vehicle!

Hey I have electricity back in my living room!! Turns out an outlet in one of the walls was lose and caused the whole room to lose power. It took the gentlemen about 15 minutes to fix and cost me less than $100...now the whole day is mine.

Going to go wrap some presents and work on final exams LOL!

I used to hate when that happened!!! But, lucky for me, Mike's office is just up the highway, so I could slowly creep down the back streets and get it--if he couldn't run it back to me!!

Well, unlucky for me DH's hospital is 40 minutes away and he was making rounds when he realized the carseat was with him! He came home after that and now we are here. I felt so bad making him leave patients.

I had to stop at McDonalds and get a biscuit and a sweet tea to calm my nerves!

Good morning, all!

Okay, I will change that one back to the 5th. . . Now you are going to have to tell me what you had on the 6th again. . . I think it was LeCellier. . . not sure of the time. . .

Sorry! Monday, 1/5: Brown Derby 1:05 PM
Tuesday, 1/6: Le Cellier 1:15 PM

Thanks for keeping track of all this! (I had forgotten what I had for the 6th - I had to look it up! Just your knowing that it was Le Cellier is AMAZING!)

Okay, so far I've posted 55 menus. . . Is there anything that I haven't posted that someone would like to see??? I have kept a list so I wouldn't repeat any. I have done park TS and CS and resort TS and CS. . . With our trips getting closer I thought I'd go back to the beginning and start posting the more popular Snowbird restaurants again. . . :goodvibes

Can you believe it is December 8th and the DDP list STILL is not finalized???

How about Victoria & Albert?

Goood Morning Snowbirds :goodvibes It has warmed up to a balmy 12 degrees here, up 6 degrees since 7, maybe it will make it to a sultry 20:lmao:

Has anyone heard if it's been decided about Coral Reef, will it be 2 dining credits or is it staying 1?

Hope everyone has a great day and stays warm

29 Days till Dinner with Mickey:banana:  :cool1: :cool1: :dance3: :dance3: :yay: :yay: :cheer2: :cheer2: :dance3: :dance3:

Okay could be Disney related...might not be....but QOTD: Your favorite Christmas Movie/TV Show?? (have we done this yet...I can't remember). Right now I'm watching Once upon a Mickey Christmas on the Disney Channel...but I have to admit to you all the one Christmas movie that I simply love is A Muppets Christmas Carol..makes me laugh and cry all in one movie!!!

I know Charlie Brown Christmas is on tonight...so those of you who love that one set those DVRs!

Girl!!~ There ain't nothin' like sweet tea!!!! YUMMY!!!

ooohhhh~ That's hard!! I do love FROSTY!!! I have a list of faves-but Rudolph is right there with Frosty!!

Of course Charlie Brown is my favorite! But this year I, whoops, I mean WE, :rotfl2: can watch it whenever we want because I bought the holiday DVD set last week. :woohoo:

Totally OT, but have any of you Bare Mineral lovers tried the new stuff from Origins? I looked at it yesterday, but my BM is still pretty full-so I hate to buy anything else, I'll wait till I am close to empty. It is cheaper than BM, so I was curious if ya'll knew about it.

Morning, snowbirds! Hope everyone had a good weekend. It was cold in our area - I think we might have hit 20 yesterday, but we woke up to temperatures in the teens and windchills in the negatives! Made me not want to leave the house at all!!
You must live near me!! Yesterday was NASTY! Cold, windy and snow! Today is supposed to warm up to 28, but we are looking at anywhere form 4 - 10 inches of snow overnight! Oh goody.

Been there, done that! We have two kids in boosters - two seats in each car, two seats with grandma and papa...Pretty soon DD7 will be out. YAY! Although she is so short, she might like to keep the booster so she can see out better!

QOTD: I love them all!! Charlie Brown ("That's what Christmas is all about Charlie Brown"), original Grinch, Rudolph, Santa Claus is coming to town (love how it explains everything), Year without a Santa Claus (Heat and Snow Miser are so funny). :santa: Yeah, I'm known for being indecisive!

Shelly - thanks for Columbia's menu - I'm planning to get some clam chowder there this trip!! Have you done all the DTD restaurants?

You hit the nail on the head! We're the same way, every one you listed is a classic and a must see.:thumbsup2

Okay could be Disney related...might not be....but QOTD: Your favorite Christmas Movie/TV Show??

Well, yes the classics are nice, however I do like more current ones too. The Santa Clause(all of them) with Tim Allen are a seasonal must in my house. I also greatly enjoy Love Actually and The Holiday. But I LOVE Polar Express!!!!!

I'm catching up! Could you slow it a little next weekend for me! :worship:

We were hit with yet ANOTHER round of the tummy bug this weekend. DS had it last weekend and I thought we were in the all clear but hten DD and I got it Saturday night. My tummy is still not right.

I read Wendy is home and recuperating!! Hope all is well!

Shelly congrats on your early Christmas gift! My dh has a laptop and I get so jealous. He uses it for just business stuff- no internet to keep everything safe. I would love to be able to travel with my computer- you know to all the important places like the sofa and bed.

I just had to share with you all my Disney O M G moment.....

Last night I had to run with DD to drop off a Secret Snow Pal gift at her friends house. Since I've been in the house all week with sick croupy DS the mail hadn't been picked up in a few days. Our mailbox is the community type...several boxes in one large unit about 3 houses down from our house. So I'm driving and ask DD to get out and get the mail . She does and my neighbor walks past and starts to talk to me about DS. Meanwhile DD is reading the mail. I say bye to the neighbor and realize I forgot my cell and drove back home to run in and get it. I leave DD in the car...she is still reading the mail. I run back to the car and move all the mail from between the seats. That's when I saw it! Right there in the middle of all the letters and magazines and store ads....was....my ....Disney.... Magical..... Express.... Letter!!!!! I quickly scooped up all the letters and said in a casual voice (while I was freaking out in my head) "Did we get anything good"? She says "nothing, but we did get"........ This is where My heart starts to pound out of my chest........."a catalog from Target with a $10 off coupon on the back...Can we go to Target in the morning"? :faint: You could have knocked me over with a feather! I really don't think she even saw it. I mean the girl can act...but not that well. I think if she had seen it she'd be hyper and asking 100 questions. :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: But nothing!

Only 19 more days to keep the secret! :ssst: :earboy2: :santa:
and.... Only 33 more days until I'm in my happy place!
Wow what a close call!!!!:scared1: I can't wait to hear how everyone's Christmas day surprises go!

Congrats to everyone that's gotten their Magical Mail! I'm doing the big pay off  Wednesday so hopefully mine will be here soon too! :cloud9:

Hi everyone!

I'm going Jan 7th-21st!!! Wheeeeeeee :wizard: Wow, there are soooo many DISers going in January... :goodvibes
Welcome and might I add that I'm a tad bit jealous that you are going for 2 WEEKS!!!!!! :rolleyes1
After watching the Samantha Brown special, I definately have to go down at the holidays next time. I wouldn't mind going in early November. As long as the decorations are up, I'm all about it.

I'm still up for making a list for the end of the month Snowbirds. As of right now, I can't make any of the meets that Shelly has listed. :sad1: If anyone will be there during the week of the 24th - 31st (you don't have to be there just those dates), I can make a list of who will be at what parks on certain days. I have no problem with just sending out the list in PM's. I love organizing and making lists!!!
We watched it too and the first thing I said to dh was that the next time we go it will have to be when it is decorated for the holidays! He just rolled his eyes at me.

I'll pm you my itinerary for a meet at some point hopefully.
Has there been a decided CBR meet yet? Or should we all just say hello in the food court each morning? :wave2:
I know Charlie Brown Christmas is on tonight...so those of you who love that one set those DVRs!
:worship: :worship: :worship: :worship: thank you, thank you!!!!!

QOTD: I can't pick just one- I love them all Frosty, Grinch, Rudolph, that one with the mouse that fixes the clock:confused3 I can sing the songs just can't remember the title:laughing: , the list goes on...
The only one I don't care for is The Christmas Story. DH loves it I can't stand it.

Well, I think I have the main person I needed to shop for done!! I was in and out of Wal-mart in less than 1 hour this morning (most likely a record for me) with the gifts!!

I switched shifts with someone today so that I could go to the chiropractor this morning, and he fixed me. So the rest of the day will be spent getting some of my christmas cards done and hopefully some scrapbooking.

The snow is coming tonight. We are estimated to get 6-10" however it could be up to 12". It will also be very windy so big drifts along with it! I just keep reminding myself that in 30 days I will be in DISNEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
