OK NOW I'M STRESSED AGAIN!!!

I KNEW I should've kept my mouth shut, but I was playing around on Disney and pulled up AKL "just to see..." That is our dream resort. Well a standard room would be about $600 more, $900 if we did Savanah view. We've always done value, but hubby's was saying he could make some extra money because he's been personally training and has been pretty busy lately. That "extra" money he's earning could be used to actually CATCH UP ON BILLS, PAY FOR CHRISTMAS, SO MANY THINGS!! But it's AKL!!!!! UGH!!!!

Awww.... Hopefully by the end of next week we can all be settled with our ressies.

Ok the lure of saving $1100 US did me in. Plus the $200 gift card is such a sweet deal. I am a little apprehensive as it's always's been DH's dream to stay at the Poly so I hope he'll be okay with this change. We are Canadian so the savings are even better for us since the exchange against the US dollar hasn't been so great lately.

Do you think i should change my Kona breakfasts (I have 2) for at least one brekfast at the GF? We are already eating at Narcoossee's one night.

We also got three airline tickets on points so are starting to save a bit more on what I thought was going to be an over the top trip.

Feeling a little less stressed now.....

Well I for one am very happy for all the Snowbirds who saved some big bucks tonight!!!

I for one need to throw my own party because...my package is COMPLETELY PAID IN FULL!!! That is right ladies and gents...this girl is going to Disney!!

When it was all said and done with my AP, APrate room and dining, I paid just about $825-850ish for my 7day/6 night trip to DISNEY...is that fantastic or what!! I'm very very excited

Ok, so I called CRO and the CM I spoke to told me I was better off staying with my AAA TA. She told me that AAA is part of this promotion and I can get an additional AAA room discount on top of the 3 days free. I would save about $340 dollars already. I can't wait tell I meet with my TA tomorrow and can actually see my savings.

AHHH, this is so confusing...I wish it would have come out this morning...my AAA TA had a travel show tonight.

I'm staying at Pop Century!! I loved it the first time so I wanted to stay with something I was familiar with LOL!!! I'm going to do CBR in December!

I am not happy I waited on the phone for 15 mins only to find out that there is NO AVAILABILITY at POFQ for the discount code! DH is not home right now so I can't even talk options with him! aarrggghhh! I want to stay at POFQ but I would also like to save some money! I'm gonna go and play with some numbers and just see what happens!

I think as long as you're more than 45 days out, you can change/cancel without a fee... I just transferred my $200 deposit to my new reservation.

If I do have to cancel my original reservation...as a right now on the website and CRO says they have preferred rooms at POP...I hope they still do tomorrow at 10.

I booked my vacation with a TA from another website. I have Pop Century preferred room for 7 nights, 8 days with the CS dining plan. I was orginally paying $2624.32. My new total is $2257.25 for a savings of $377.07 and I also get a $200 gift card. My DD is turning 13 on our last day so that's another $75 gift. My total savings from Disney is a Grand Total $652.07. Does this seem like a good deal? I wish my TA would have broke down the day rate for me. However, I should not complain....with the savings, we can now book LaNouba with the extra cash!

I think you got a good deal...we have 10 days with 9 day hopper, water parks, and basic dining...we would save $340 before are additional AAA discount (which according to the CM I talked to I can also apply).

Well I just spent the last two hours hemmng and hawing over what to do, if anything. It would cost the equivalent of another airline ticket to change the flight, so the only other option is to cancel it and drive down with DH. I didn't ask the airline about that... Too much to consider. I may not even be able to get a room with the deal. I think it's best for us to just stick with our original plan It is definitely cheaper anyway. Plus, I like SOG!
After all that - I think I should just go to bed. I'm exhausted.

I don't belong to AAA, so I can't get that extra deal. wow, that would be nice to see exactly how much a vacation at the Contemporary would be...that is my Dream stay!

okay, just for kicks I went on the Disney website and got a quote for the same exact thing that my TA got me. Disney is quoting me $2837.37 They aren't indicating if I got 3 days free..or the gift card on-line. I'm going to see what a deluxe would go for the same timeframe.
