FYI: the Unofficial Guide website is working again...

I can work on my plans for AK and MGM now more in depth... I have plans or at least interchangeable plans for MK and EPCOT, but I haven't finished my MGM and AK plans yet...

Haha, I am staying on DVC points. All us renters and off-site ppl started a pool to see how long everyone will have to squirm!

(j/k, although now that I think about it, it would have been fun!)

BTW, before I went with renting and I was asking about codes, a very helpful CM told me in early Nov to check the travel section of the local major sunday paper (ie: New York Times for me) He said they often put steep discounts in there, and they are only advertised once, and usually only in select papers. So it's hit or miss but something else to try!

OH NO!!!!!!!! Not somewhere else to scour & obsess over!!!!

Hmm... too bad I don't even read the paper...
I actually found an old USA Today the other day, and I was reading it like it was that day's paper, then I realized it was like 2 weeks old....

I wonder if they wouldn't give it to me because my first date is the 24th. Could I pay regular for that night and then get the discount starting on the 25th? Also if you apply a code and a better one comes out with Visa can you change it for whichever is a better deal?

I would call and see my dates were January 15th thru January 21st. The AP code only applies 1/2 thru 1/15 and then again 1/19 through 2/12 however there was still a lower rate over MLK weekend!! So the code was applied to my resort rate and I got my reservation changed in my email.

SO the best advice I can give is please just call and ask!! You might find yourself pleasently surprised!!

Also, the info about the AP rate only specifies Standard rooms (at least from what I've read). I got a discount on my Pool View room for a rate of about $168/night when I was going to be paying $245/night, so you should definitely call and ask, because they might be able to offer you something.

LoL! Once when I was out with my family to dinner, my mom was trying to get my little bro to try some of her duck. Don't ask me why, but she said. "Come on, it's just like Donald Duck!" Needless to say, he has yet to try duck!

We also get as many photopass people as we can. On our trip in Nov. ' 06 we actually had every CM on Main Street, so in our pictures you can see our progression towards the castle, rather funny.

Ok so here are some pictures...

We knew when the picture was being taken, so we knew what we wanted to do!! It's one of my favorites!

This is my friend Joanna. We tried to convert her to a Disney Nut, we were unsuccessful. Well I think. She said she would go again, she just needs more than a year in between trips.

And just for good measure because this is what I will be seeing in 69 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What wonderful pictures!!!!!! Thank you for sharing those pictures and your advice. I think that is neat that you have your progression to the castle. These are the type of things I wouldn't think about. I can't wait until DH wakes up (works midnights) so I can share your pictures.

I also love all the different poses. The ones with the family are really good. I love some of the expressions on some of your family members with the one person holding Simba. I also love the one with the arms spread out and where you positioned the year. I think I will require a larger binder for all these new ideas.

Ok question. Apparently no codes aply to me because we are renting points. However, we haven't gotten our park tickets yet. So would there be any codes that are just for the tickets? We don't have AAA or Disney Visa ( I really want it, but need to pay off my other card first ). So is there anythign that will aply to us?

That is too funny. It took me a bit, as I am not adept at shortened down words or letters like that to make a word. We use to have an old game show up here, I believe it was called Bumper Stumpers. It was where you had teams guessing if the licence plate on the left or the right were the correct one then their partner had to guess the plate. I would have not even got one correct on that one. While driving DH will chuckle, etc and point to the plate then have to tell me what it is. I am so lame when it comes to them, luckily I have other skills to get me through life. I will have to let DH know about this one.
