Okay I seriously need to chill out! I'm getting way too obsessed with all this code stuff.

I have called Disney twice today.

I have 6 tabs open on my computer- mousesavers, the DIS discounts page, the DIS forums, my email, Disney Visa, and Disney. com discounts page.

My poor refresh button is probably going to break soon.

I just want to save a little so we can still go. Is that too much to ask?

Oh well, I'm not going to worry about it. . . The codes will get here when they get here. . .

That's the spirit Shelly! Sometimes I think the more we stress about something, the longer we end up witing for that thing to happen! Let's all just be cool and those codes will be out in no time!

Oh dear. I mean is it really that big of a deal? Not that polite but still, get over it!
That's why snowbirds are the best, we don't get into nasty board wars that are so common on these threads!

I was one of the people being yelled at on the codes board yesterday.... what a snotty person.... I did cancel the other two reservations... had them for about an hour... yikes... some folks need to take a chill pill.....

I am almost afraid to go over there and see what is going on.... maybe I was being raked over the coals again while I was in class...

Maggie - maybe you should go tell them you cancelled your other reservations, they seem hung up on the fact that you took discounted rooms away from other people....

I am such a dancing banana right now because I just found out that Kate Gosselin (of Jon & Kate Plus 8) is coming to a church nearby this Saturday night. I her! (No flames please, as I know some people strongly dislike her.) They were going to come to a different church, but canceled. It has been rescheduled and I'm over the moon.

I'm take DD to Disney Live with Pooh and that night to see Kate.

The "other" thread should be avoided!! They don't have any more info that we do. We are so much nicer here.

I was thinking about all this craziness though. Are there that many of us that are going in January that if we are eligible for these deals, that unless we rush and get in on them on the first day, we won't get them? What, are there only three rooms available for the codes? I know it's limited, but really. Half the world doesn't even know these things exist. The relatively few people on these boards are knowledgeable and can't possibly use up all the rooms with deals available. Especially since there are varying dates for people going and for the discounts.
I admit, I'm all worked up too, but what, really is the urgency? Just wondering if I'm missing a key point.

Wendy, I saw your response on the Code thread. Well said. I noticed it did not stop the continuing "discussion" with the one poster. Some people just can't let go. Don't worry about it.

First off, thanks for all the birthday wished for DD.

Second, that January Code Watch thread is out of control. Some of the people are obsessed with codes. A code should not be a determining factor of your Disney trip. I count my blessings every day that we can go again this year. But we make sure we can afford the trip (code or not) before we book. If we get a code and it saves us money, great! It will be money for the trip that can be used elsewhere. Hopefully, money spent on me! Some people just need to step back and breath, relax. In my best James Earl Jones voice from Field of Dreams "Codes will come people, codes will most definitely come!"
