January 2009 ADR Wanted/Trade/Exchange/Cancelled

I have been trying to get Chef Mickeys, Garden Grill, or Teppan Edo for dinner on Jan 2 for about 2 months now. I have called every day. Still nothing.
What are the chances of something coming available? Do I keep calling the poor CMs ? (I think I got the same one two days in a row last week)
Or do I give up and get whatever is available?
BTW it is our first night there.

Have you made an ADR for a different restaurant just in case? That's what I would do and then keep calling trying to get what you want. If you do end up with an ADR for one of your top choices, then cancel the backup ADR. If you don't get the ADR you want, at least you'll have somewhere to eat.

well I called again tonight and got 4:10, not exactly what I wanted but close enough. I want to eat early to get over to the wishes and parade.

I'm going to cancel my Jan 1 8:10 am reservation at CP for a party of 5 around 3pm today if anyone wants it. We're just not going to be able to get up so early the morning after NYE, but for a family with little ones who go to bed earlier this might be great (and the MK would be reasonably quiet compared to the other days that morning because of NYE)!
