I may be an idiot for asking this, but where do I apply this code?

you have to call Disney (or travel agent) to apply it.

Not sure if the room is that much discounted as I had a room only AAA rate anyway. But it is probably discounted off the rack rate. They said the dining part is not discounted.

I'm sure that this has been asked already, but can you combine discounts? I already have an AAA discounted package for WL, but could the Disney Visa code be applied as well? Thanks!

Okay, I've never been curious about codes before, because we are dvc owners and usually just stay at our dvc resort. This trip we are splitting between POR, SSR and FW cabins.

My husband and I are annual pass holders, Disney Visa card holders, and dvc members. We already have our tickets for the kids. Is there any chance I am going to get a rate that I can apply to anything, or should I forget it since we've already got tickets (seems like current promos are for MYW tx)? I'm thinking that the only thing I might qualify for is an ap rate... We are going Jan 25-Feb 4. I'd love to get a rate that would allow us an upgrade to WL, right now that is just a bit too pricey.

I am trying to figure out that too--so far the answer is no--but the package with code is $172 cheaper than the comparable AAA package (for me).

Is there any chance of a room only discount for January? We purchased our tickets prior to the price increase (in early August I think) and the Visa package is actually more than our AAA room only rate and the tickets we are holding so it makes no sense to me to get new tickets. I was really hoping to bring down the cost a bit-- oh well I think we still got a really good deal the way we purchased everything.

I was told by my AAA agent that she WOULD be able to apply the code to a package. I'm guessing that we would just get the free ticket upgrade and no further room discount.

Right now I have a room only AAA discount. I have contacted a AAA agent who has priced out a package with hoppers (which is what I want) and without hoppers. I'm guessing that the package price with the code will be the same as the package price without the hoppers (and no code).

We'll see on THursday how it all works out!

You can only use one code per reservation. This code my be lower the AAA package adn you can apply it as long as there are rooms available.

I have a disney visa and went to AAA this morning with the ZXF code. Didn't do me any good only for Moderate resorts...

I just modified my package to use the visa rewareds and saved over $500.00! I did have to change from a savannah view to a pool view but to us that is not such a big deal for the amount of time we actually spend in the room.
The CM I talked with must have been new because it took about 1 hour on the phone with her but she helped me get a good deal...
I only hope she was right when she said I can upgrade my ticket to an AP and get a possible additional discount when the rates come out...

No it isn't a code. They offer discounts off rooms during certain times of the year. The discount is off room and if you book a package you get a 10-20% off the room but not the rest.
The codes will offer a little off roon but also upgrade tickets to park hoppers and water parks.
I hope this makes things a little clearer. If not just let me know.

I just called and applied this to my January dates at a VALUE Resort--Pop Century and saved $156!!! Yippeee!!! There were no issues w/ it being a Value...

Code worked for me!! I did however have to upgrade from All Star Music to Port Orleans French Quarter. (Family Suites aren't included in the discount.) Our price only went up $300!! I'm so excited! Better hotel and Free upgraded tickets for $300!

The email I just got has MLK weekend blacked out & says 01/01-01/17, 1/21-2/13 as the available dates.

Yes, it is currently only VISA cardholder, but they are anticipating the same code to come out for the general publie on 11/1.

Do you think this Visa Card holder deal is worth it? I have a AAA room only rate for 2 rooms at Pop for a week. The "free" upgrade to Park Hoppers is nice but I'm thinking my savings on the room may negate the upgrade to Park Hoppers -- and in January - I really don't think the added benefit of the water parks (or Park since only one is open) is worth any money.

What do you think?

Thanks for your help. I do have more questions.

Right now I have a room only AAA discount. I know I can't get the ticket upgrade without getting package.

Bottom line, I want a discount on my room and the free ticket upgrade.

Is the best way to get that to book a AAA package (to get the room discount) and have them apply the ticket upgrade code?

Or could Disney possibly offer more savings if I book a package through them (as I've heard people are getting discounts on rooms as well as ticket upgrades)?

Should I wait until Thursday to price it all out, or can a AAA TA or Disney CM price it out ahead of time (with the codes applied) so I know which is the best deal?

So confusing!

DF and I already booked w/o a code and paid in full for 8 days at POR king guaranteed room, Deluxe Dining Plan, 8 day park hopper tickets w/ water park option & more. Our total vacation price was $2935. I'm just hoping the Free hopper option & more will become available to the general public but even if it doesn't we wanted it. DF wants to go to DisneyQuest and we are hoping for at least one extra warm day to experience typhoon lagoon. Our main reason though is for the admissions to pleasure island which we plan on using 2-3 times. It's a good deal for us.
