Just as an FYI - I just checked the launch schedule for Kennedy Space Center for January. They are scheduled to launch a Delta Three Rocket on January 25th at noon.

Perhaps we'll have a chance of seeing it on our way back from St. Thomas?

I am back from our mother daughter getaway(plus uninvited guests...) to Vegas....

WELCOME to all our new cruisers who joined us while I was away.

It is so hard to believe we are now counting down in the 60 day mark till we leave. While I was gone I did get our Pirate and princess party tickets in the mail, thank goodness DH didn't open those..lol

IMLAZAR..the 25th is that Friday and we will be at CC..maybe we will be lucky and get to see part of the liftoff. I am not sure how far CC is from Florida. That would be so cool.

Just as a fluke we were staying at the Ron Jon a few years back and there was a rocket launched. It was truly one of the most amazing sights to see. We could see the launch pad with the naked eye and the boys were playing in the ocean when it went up! The kids kept complaining that they wanted to go back to the room because the launch was delayed and they were "done" waiting. After it went up they were so happy we made them wait it out! I hope we can see it. That will count for "science" credit since we are pulling our kids out of school that week!

I am new to this board and to Disney crusing and can't beleive how excited we are...quick question...Princess tickets? do I need special tickets for something? my dd is 4 and would freak if we missed a princess party...

any other advice you can offer would be greatly appreciated, also what is the list of names, is that the "roll call" for our cruise?

Ok, princess party....some of us DIS'ers are continuing on to WDW after the cruise on the 26th...and that night(some of us DIS'ers have the same anniversary,) is a pirate and princess party at the Magic Kingdom. That being said, on the cruise there usually is a princess meet(trust me, my 21 yr old son stood in line to get a picture with ALL of the princesses ) as well as either tea with Wendy or Alice, she may be interested in that as well. Just check your navigator for the day and times. You can get tickets for the tea at Guest Services, I heard they go quick.

The roll call is for the DIS bag exchange at the DIS meet, and/or DIS Tag. If you are interested in participating in either, let us know and we can fill you in on the details.

Ok Tidefan, no fair...its cold, windy and rainy(a little, but that is better then none here in NC) here in NC...I want to go to the islands too, all though it was hot in Vegas last week and I did come home pink..lol

I am not sure what to tell you about the fish extenders. Me, I don't have one..the only problem I see is if we look at the master list, I only can see a few cabin numbers. Its hard to leave little gifts if we don't have cabin numbers. That being said, I can also keep track of that as well.

Personally, I do have some little gifts in the works for just that reason.

I would also like to know which DIS'ers are celebrating anniversaries, birthdays or weddings on our cruise...

Hello everyone!!!! We have 2 birthdays while we are on board. My DS, Gentry is turning 9 the day we board the ship, and my Dmom, Charlotte, is turning ???? on Jan. 23rd the day we are at St. Thomas. Both our DS broke their wrists 5 days apart this week so say a prayer for them, thanks so much, one might still be casted come cruise time or may need surgery. Both freak accidents at school. HHMMM could school really be bad for your health? Have a great day everyone, see ya all in about 8 weeks!!!!!!

Oh my goodness...I hope both boys are ok, and you are keeping your sanity through it all. I can't imagine 2 at once. It was bad enough when DS broke his leg at age 2, then his elbow 2 years ago(age 8). That one required surgery, and months of physical therapy so I can sympathize with what you are going through.
I hope they both heal perfectly.
