Hi all. Southwest has just opened up the flights for January. Unfortunately for us, the prices are crazy! Almost $1200 for 3 of us from Manchester, NH (we have gone the last 2 winters for about $450 total)!

I guess that we will just wait a bit & see if the prices drop a little. I guess we still have plenty of time to book our flights. I just wanted to get something new done!

We are planning on going to Seaworld the day after the cruise, staying over & then flying home on Sunday. Has anyone stayed at Buena Vista Suites? It says that they are 3 miles from SW. 1 BR suite for $105. Any input? At least that way I can feel like I am doing something!

We all just booked...104 each way from Providence...so we booked it.

We are flying in a day early and going over to OKW to hang by the pool. We are going to leave on that Sat. to fly home. I hate having to go to work the day after coming home from vacation.

Hi everyone!!!

Guess what we ust got in the mail??? We got our "official" DCL trip planning packet....

YEAH!!!!

Along with a letter with the date that we can start booking everything. Since we are returning cruisers our date is October 21...at midnight from what I have read...much better then 3 AM and setting the alarm, which I have done in the past.

Beth.....GET-OUT!!!!! I can't wait to get ours. Who did you book through? We originally booked on-line with DCL then switched to DU to get the onboard ship credit.

I finally got my e-mail from Cathy with a confirmation for the vow renewal. She is sending everything out, and she said that we do get consierge service, I just need to tell her what we want and she will book it.

Hello fellow Thawers!

I am so sorry that I have disappeared, but couldn't get on the Disboards at work for awhile . Thank goodness they have unblocked (for now at least)

We just got our packet and are so excited. I still have to pick out the excursions we want to take, but we have until Oct 21 to figure it out!

I hope everyone else is doing wonderful and "welcome" to all of our new cruisers!!!

That is terrific that everyone is getting theirs, for a minute I thought I imagined getting mine....

It makes it all seem more real and alot closer.

I have been sick all week...A sinus infection and upper resp. infection have knocked me over. My counter looks like a drug store, but I finally went to the dr and got some good drugs...

I agree with Brett....get it over with now...have to be in ship shape in January. I watched Cruising do's and don'ts last night and it just is getting me more and more psyched. Have a great weekend everyone.

Thanks for the get well wishes... I have been banished to the other side of the house so I don't infect the kids....I got told, we can't have them miss any days cause they are sick....LOL even DH has the cruise bug.

I am more worried about the tropical "disturbance" sitting 500 miles off our coast. I know we need the rain(severe drought here), but the kids don't need to miss a day because of the weather. Not a problem for 5th grader, but major issues for 12th grader and exams....

I would'nt....If you went through a TA, they might have went to them and they should be forwarded to you. That is what happened to us.

We got our cruise docs the same time as Beth.

It certainly makes it seem more real and that our time will shortly be here. It's exciting, but kinda scary - - - will I have everything together in time?

I just ordered DS a tux off ebay for formal night. Need to try it on him. I bet he and Daddy will look so smart!

My DS started school again last week - now in second grade. My DD turns 3 this week. Then DMIL arrives the week after. Lots to do! I'll be kept busy and then January will be here before we know it!

The hard part about this cruise is were not telling our boys until Christmas!

Welcome onboard all the new folks since I last checked.

I can't believe it is only 4 months till the cruise. So many things left to figure out and get done....
- Trip insurance
- Flights
- Are we arriving a day early and staying overnight or the same day
- To rent a car and drive out or to get transfers
- Excursions

Aieeee. It's too much. Our first cruise was so much simpler when we didn't know anything!!

Guess what????? Got the forms via e-mail today from Cathy from Disney weddings. And, of course, I already have it all filled out!!!!
I don't want to scare her by sending them in today, so I will wait a day or two and then send them along. I picked the chocolate cake with strawberry mousse filling, yummy....I just don't know what champagne to go with ooooo the choices!!!

And, we do get the 105 day reservation perk!!!
