Janet Evanovich & Disney - what's the connection?

I think Christain Bale would be good for Morreli or Chris Odonnel. He's on Grey's Anatomy now and I think he would be cute enough not to mention sweet. He could pull it off.

OMG! I am sitting here watching SVU and thought about Christopher Meloni for Morelli and that thought led to me looking for this thread....and now I see this!

Did you ever see him in OZ? It was an HBO show about a maximum security prison and Chris Meloni was in it, pre SVU. You see a LOT more than just no shirt. That boy has muscles on top of muscles-YUM.

I do, but I'm just not seeing him as Ranger. He seems too, I don't know... campy? He's always mugging and making these silly faces, where I think Ranger is more mysterious and sultry.

Good point - I wasn't thinking about the faces. As long as he didn't raise his eyebrow.......

sk8belle - my first pick for Ranger would have been Antonio too, but I agree that he's probably older than ideal for the character.

What kills me is that they haven't really made any progress on a film. With as entertaining as the books are, plus the good plots and characters, with the right director and a good screenplay they could be great movies! Why is it sitting on the back burner?

I was talking about this with a friend of mine who is also a huge Plum fan and she suggested instead of Queen Latifah for Lula, how about Mo'Nique?!

I know!!! I didn't even know about the possibility of a movie until this thread and now I am dying with impatience for it! I could see it as a very funny series too though.

OMG We could so use some good comedy shows on TV, remember the shows of the 80's no reality, just fun and action!


I think anything movie or tv involving these books would be awesome! I cant get enough of Ranger!

I like the idea of either Leah Remini or Sandra Bullock as Stephanie! And def the Rock as Ranger!

I love the Stephanie Plum novels! Who can picture Lulu gnawing on a turkey leg at WDW?! me! And both her and Stephanie getting into a mob ruckus trying to get the last Mickey bars or pastries at the bakery!
