Well, I stand corrected.

Even the author thinks The Rock should be Ranger. This is a quote out of the Washington Post from way back when she was only through book 6:

Lately there's been talk about taking Steph to series televsion but again that's as far as it's gone. No one has ever been cast in the series. I've always had a hard time deciding who should play Stephanie but I agree with you on The Rock. The Rock is Ranger. Plus Webmaster Alex and I want to learn how to give The People's Elbow.

The Roc-- Ranger
Anthony Sabbato jr.-- Morrelli
Drea de Matteo -- Connie
Queen Latifa-- Lula
Michael Clarke-- Benito Ramirez

I wish Anthony Sabbato was a better actor though...

What a great pick for Stephanie, inthemood! Leah Remini can be such a bad a$$.

I was thinking maybe someone like Paul Walker as Morelli or even Brad Pitt since all the ladies in the Burg drool over him as he walks by.

Drea de Matteo would be awesome for Connie too and just an FYI, Benito Ramirez scares the bajeebies out of me!!!

I'm nominating Jane Kaczmarek ("Malcolm In the Middle") for Stephanie's mom. Although she may be too young. Esp. with Peter Boyle as the dad (perfect pick of that one, by the way!).

Same here. I'm thinking Antonio Bandaras would be good, except Ranger is supposedly early 30s, and I think AB might look a little too old for that.

And Jennifer48? You are right on with Christian Bale as Morelli!! LOVE him!

For those CSI fans, I think George Eads (plays Nick Stokes) would make a pretty decent Morelli.

Ok...I've got it bad because I was flipping through a catalog at work last week and cut out a couple of pictures of a model I thought would make a great Morelli....then I showed it to my DH to see what he thought (he's a big Plum fan too).

I would go for the I heart Morelli shirt but dreams are good for Ranger.

By the way did anyone notice that Stephanie mentions an Uncle Walt in the first book?

OMG! I am sitting here watching SVU and thought about Christopher Meloni for Morelli and that thought led to me looking for this thread....and now I see this!

This is the man! I respectfully disagree...I think Stabler is both hot and built - when they show him without his shirt, oolala!
