Well, I did what a CM told another PP not to.

My phone CM told me to book a new package, and then call back at a later date to cancel my existing reservation and get my deposit credited back. So....

Now we are booked with the promo at the Beach Club!

I really debated on going with a moderate but I think we'll be just as happy at POP. It's DISNEY after all. I think I would be happy anywhere!

We will be there from 4/21-4/27.

Yeah, the CM snapped at me NOT to book a second ressie (actually, it would be a third and fourth since we have a split stay !). Don't sknow what to do!

We saved about about $900.... We did the whole package with tickets though. Yay!

I booked last weeek with the Visa but I just checked the website to make sure my price was right & price out GF RPC room only. My package price was right on. GF price just not worth it!

I actually went to the Disney site first & played around, then came to the Dis. Thought you guys would have been booking for hours now. Sorry you all had to endure more torture this mornng! Hope it is worth it for everyone!

Same here Jenny, 10 day, POR May 5 - 15. BUT ... its just 2 of us, I am guessing you saved more off tickets for certain.

Pricing it out now and can see the ticket breakdown. Definitely not as much as I thought it would be -- not sure if it's worth booking a package to save the additional $60 I'd save over going through Undercover Tourist for tickets. Probably not. Guess I'll just do room only.

Just talked to a cm after pricing it out online but she said systems are still down and to call back this afternoon. I was also asking her if we can add things on later if we arent sure about them yet. Like Dining and park hopper. She said I could but that I would get the better deal if I book them all now. I said even on dining? And she said yes. I told her there was no dining discount when I went through the system online and she said it must not be up and fulky running yet. Im wondering though if she doesnt know what shes talking about.

On the plus side though I will be saving $500 on our trip!

Your dining reservations are separate from your resort reservation. As long as you have all of your dining confirmation numbers, you can add them back to see them on the website with your new resort reservation as well.

Awwww thanks. She is much better this a.m., she kept down some applesauce and toast, and is no longer fevered. I am glad we waited this out together!

The other funny thing about my call, when the automated system tried to verify my address based on my name, it came up as an apartment I lived in in 1999 - and I didn't even have the same last name then (it was before I was married). So strange, I've lived 3 other places since then!

Now back to refreshing the boards constantly hoping for a post from someone who got through via phone!

ughhh.....decisions. a standard view at the poly is the same price as a garden view club level at beach club......DH and the kids love the poly. I tend to get very bus sick...but the savings at beach club sound amazing.....
