Just caught on to the bunkbed conversation. I have had bunkbeds in my room at AKL with a lovely view of the parking lot. Now, if that's not a standard room, nothing is...I don't get it.

I am as well. When I made reservations through my TA I asked about requesting bunkbeds & she said they are not available in standard view rooms, so it is not noted on my ressie Hmmmm, my boys would really like em if they are available. Guess I will just ask when we get there.

REQUEST it NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL

Seriously, I've booked standard twice now, well 3 times actually, (just booked a room only today, and made the same request) I've requested bunk beds each time. I would have it noted on your reservation ASAP!!!!!!!!! It can't hurt!!! I have EVERY request I have noted on my reservation no matter what. I have my confirmation papers and it states all of my request and I have guaranteed non - smoking. Just for an FYI - my request were; NON smoking (health reasons, my DS uses a nebulizer 3X daily) bunk-beds, 3rd or 4th floor. On our last trip ALL were granted, in fact we were upgraded to deluxe savanna view. I'm hoping to be upgraded this time too, but if not, I am prepared to pay for the upgrade if our room faces the parking lot or does not have bunk beds. Still, I'd have ANY request you have noted on your reservation!!! Also, I'd ask at check-in too!!! Good Luck, I know your boys would love it!!
