Jackie Gets Her Wish - Pre Trip Report

Hey Everyone.

I'm back and I'm so excited that I get to have 2 Pre-trippies on the go and that I'm actually booked to go to Disney twice.

So how it came about well I've had a really difficult year and I knew that part of this was the Disney blues and that if I knew we could get to Disney as soon as possible then it would cheer me up so after a weeks of me saying please and the bf repeatedly telling me we are going next year we can't afford it this year as well he finally said we can book if your positive we can afford it!

Anyways enough of my ramblings here's some more about the trip:

I'm Jackie I'm 22 currently and will be 23 by the time of our trip and turn 24 when I'm out there. I am well and trully a disney fanatic and it is quite often that you will see me cry everytime I watch a disney film and that's as soon as the intro starts and I see the castle. I work for the Greater Manchester Chambers of Commerce. And live in Leigh currently with the parents but should be moving out in the next year. Although this will be my 10th Dinsey trip it will be my first onsite trip. Here is me on our last holiday to the mouse.

Also going along is my bf Jonathan we have been together for over two and a half years now and are getting our first house together. Jonathan also loves Disney allthough he's always saying that he can never love it as much as I do. He's an electrical engineer and loves his cars.

He loves Harry Potter and is really looking forward to Harry Potter land but he decided himself that this Christmas trip would be all about Disney and maybe one trip out to the premium outlets rather than combining the two.

This is Jonathan on our last trip, his first when I managed to convert him into a Disney World lover.

Trip Details:

Time 27th November - 4th December

Accomadation:

Disney's POP Century Resort booked with Dreams Unlimited as part of Magic Your Way package with free Quick Service Dining Plan

Transport:10:25 flight to MCO 27th November Returning on the 8:55pm flight from MCO to Manchester on 4th December with Virgin.

Disney's Magical Express & also other disney buses maybe a taxi to premium outlets.


Oh yes first time for the Christmas period I can't wait.

$1300 works out at about £800 hopefully the exchange rate will just keep getting better before we go.

Flights booked lastnight in Virgin sale.

MAN to MCO VS075 - 10:25 27th November.
MCO to Man VS074 - 20:55 4th December.

£392 + 2000 miles each.

We are definately doing a mvmcp and also looking around all the resorts.

Ok Update!

Booked MVMCP Tickets for 3rd December our last night.

Also got some rough plans for our days/nights.

Only doing Disney parks and probably a trip to the premium outlets.


Arrival Day-27th November: Due to arrive at MCO at 14:50 so hope to be at Pop for 4pm.

We are using Magical Express so looking forward to that part.

Plans - check in and look around POP if it's nice enough go for a swim if not probably a trip on the bus to DTD for a few hours.

28th November

Hollywood Studios.

29th November

Animal Kingdom - Morning
Afternoon - Back to POP for Swim or DTD(Weather dependent).
Evening - Magic Kingdom for Electrical Light Parade, Wishes & Evening Hours.

30th November

Morning - Epcot
afternoon - Swim look around some of the hotels.
Evening - Back to Epcot

1st December

Morning - Sleep in
Get a taxi to premium outlets.
Afternoon/Evening - Animal Kingdom.

2nd December

Magic Kingdom - Morning
Afternoon/Evening - Hollywood Studios

3rd December

Magic Kingdom
Mickeys Very Merry Xmas Party

4th December

Last day our flight is at 10 to 9 in the evening so we will go to a park of our choice will probably be Hollywood Studios or Magic Kingdom.

Must Do's
Christmas Party
Osborne Lights
Look around all the hotels and the decorations.

Anything else anyone can think of we don't have a car with us for this trip so relying on Disney transport.

Ok I can't believe I haven't posted in forever seriously I have so much to get sorted and am still so busy at work and have to go in tomorrow as well.

Anyways packing is nearly done well it's not in a case yet but it's lay on top of one bf has the other at his and as we want to mix stuff together in case one goes missing etc we will pack properly tomorrow night.

Very excited will do online check in as well tomorrow and will be going to Asda for any last minute bit's and bobs.

Have the dollars, the new video camera, camera, memory cards etc. Just need to get it all packed up and then we will be off Saturday morning I'm praying to god the Snow doesn't hit Manchester until after we have left! Cant wait to get out of the cold and into the sun.

Ok all checked in and suitcases packed just need to finish off on the handluggage then off to bed for a few hours if I can sleep Been bouncing off the walls all night!

Back home and freezing lol just thought id check in.

Lots of high's hardly any low's except coming home and wanting to be back there.
