I'm in the same boat now - I graduated in May, have been sending out resumes left and right, but have only been on a few interviews. I got one offer working for just above minimum wage - I did not just spend the last 4 years earning that piece of paper to earn minimum wage. So, I'm still looking. Don't lose hope yet!

Wagamama, I was a journalism major too, and it actually is an excellent degree to have. It took me four months after graduating to find a job, and it ended up being in marketing and group sales for a theme park (long ago).

There is ALWAYS a market for those can write well and communicate, so if you haven't already expanded your search to include marketing, corporate communications or public relations you should consider those areas as well.

Good luck, and NO MATTER WHAT it is never a waste to have a degree.

I'm in a similar boat. I graduated in May with an accounting degree. Still no job. Lots of interviews but everyone wants experience.
