If I register my Droid X under my existing Itunes account (actually DD's Ipod/Itunes account) Can I transfer songs from Itunes to my Droid X without compromising her IPod, meaning, if she plugs in her IPod will it wipe her Ipod with my Droid on there as well?

You can use DoubleTwister to sync iTunes to Droid x, the process:

* Download and install doubleTwist
* Connect your Droid using a USB cable
* Select "USB connected" and then "Mount" on your Droid x
* doubleTwist will launch automatically (if you use Windows)
* Set up your sync settings or just drag and drop media to your Droid x
* doubleTwist will automatically convert your videos so that they play on your Droid x

P.s. For DRMed iTunes songs or videos, DoubleTwist is willing to help but unable to do so about this, cause it cant remove drm from iTunes. For this case, you can get a step-by-step tutorial via my signature to get it done:

Assuming you have Windows, why would you even want to use iTunes to manage your music on your Droid? Take this chance to break free from that horrible application.

Just connect your phone to your computer, select turn on USB when prompted, and drag and drop your music over to the phone. Obviously it won't work for iTunes DRM purchases, but purchased music has been DRM free for awhile. Videos will have issues.

Agreed. I have an Iphone 4, just bought after my Iphone 3G was getting old, but I still HATE using Itunes for anything...it's such a badly made program

Edit: The only caveat to mention is whether those songs on Itunes are the m4p or whatever the name is of Apple's music files vs. MP3. Does the Droid X play the Apple file format?

You can try daniusoft drm converter, an easy-to-use drm removal tool, which can you which can remove DRM protection legally and convert iTunes to Droid X in high quality.

Do this. I have a Droid X and use doubletwist. It works great and is easy to use.
