In HOUSTON, TX!!!!!!!! Sorry-had to share the excitement. This never happens!

:rolleyes1 I'm sorry...my BIL who lives in the Houston area must have brought it when he got back this week from MD.

That's nice. We had a high of 65 degrees today in Jersey! :lmao:

I you really need snow, I will gladly send you ours. We have about 8 inches on the ground here in Minnesota, and it is only Dec!!!!

We nevr seam to get rid of the snow up here in Canada.

You know what they say about us...6 months of winter & 6 months of bad skating.

Yep, we live in Houston and my kids were so excited! They were running around with their mouths open, trying to catch snowflakes on their tongues. They wanted to make snowballs in the norning but sadly it's already stopped snowing. They enjoyed it while it lasted though.

I second that. You can have some of the 6inches that dropped here in SW WI two nights ago

Last weekend we have almost 2 inches of snow in Columbus Ohio but now after all that rain we had monday the snow melted. It's all Gone

did you want more?
I can spare quite a bit :hippie:
we have about 18" on the ground........i was just thinking yesterday what we are going to with all of this snow, we still have 4 more months of Winter.

Woot! It's snowing here in Lafayette, LA about 4 hrs east of Houston! First accumulated snow in about 10 years. We only get snow every 10 years or so.

My parents were in Houston this week. It was snowing in Houston and 55º here in PA. Talk about BACKWARDS!!
:rotfl:
Of course, they arrived home yesterday, and it's snowing here now, too.
Not so fun weather for vacation!
(Of course, they were happy that the Steelers pulled it out on Sunday while they were there...)

Hey neighbor - I'm in Lafayette too!

And had to drive in it this morning. . . there was even slush on the roadways. Just like what you northerners must experience when you drive!

Only thing is, this will disappear in the next 30 minutes!

I was in Houston yesterday and it was very cold and wet. Flew home to New Orleans last night, now "SNOW" in New Orleans.

Maybe when we fly to Orlando tomorrow evening for TSM, they will have snow as well ?

I know! Greatest thing ever! So beautiful!

:sad2: :sad2: :sad2: Excited about snow. Only southerners!

My kids have been wishing for snow...but we rarely have it accumulate at the elevation we're at. Just a short drive to Mt. Hood though -- usually lots of snow there!

It snowing here in Baton Rouge, too. I've been out playing in it since 6 am!!! Thank goodness our flight to Disney is tomorrow morning instead of this morning. Unfortunately, hubby works on an oil rig in the gulf and as of right now he isn't sure they will be able to fly him in today, which means we will have to change our flight times tomorrow...or I may be flying to Disney without him!

Ahh I love the pictures of the snow!!! So pretty :yay: But we are flying through Houston on our way to Orlando in just two days...I hope this excitement of snow doesn't delay flights :guilty:

You can come enjoy my snow anytime. My hubby is already whining that he needs a new snow blower this year (we have over a foot on the ground). Although I livev in WI, this much snow this early is not the norm in recent memory.

The kids love it though. It is too deep for the 19 mo old to even walk in it...and the poor dog has trouble finding a place to do his business.

Thank goodness we'll be in Florida in just 2 days.

Hope you had better luck flying out of Houston than I did. I sat on the tarmac for 6 hours. I was supposed to get to BWI last night at 11:00, we got here at 5:30 this morning. :scared1:

Sometimes I really hate this part of my job.
