Hello everyone!!!! I am brand new to the board and wanted to share my dates. We are going on a disney cruise Oct 11th to the 17th on the Disney Wonder.

We will be at POR royal rooms Oct 19-25. It will be my families first time but my 5th. Can't wait until Fall! I have never been during Halloween festivities.

So far I've only planned my first day - check in at Beach Club, will have made fast pass for Soarin' around 5 or so, then dinner probably at Via Napoli.


That's as far as I've gotten! I seem to be doing more shopping for stuff than anything else.

I'm officially joining this party!!!!! October 9-18 Beach Club Villas!!! Me, the hubs, and our two little princesses (they will be 7 & 4) I'm already in full force planning mode and my hubby says I have Disney brain... Ahhhh )))

I've been lurking for awhile and loving reading everyone's October excitement!

BF and I will be heading down first week of October. I'm trying to talk him in to taking an extra half day off from work so we can take an afternoon flight down. If he says yes we will probably go to Universal first and get our one day in there(and then a I can focus all my excitement and fun on the world)!. Big thanks to the poster(page 14 or so) who mentioned that Universal will give an Unlimited Pass if you stay at their hotel. While thats not what we are going to do it helped inspire this leaving the afternoon before, which will mean one less night at Disney but we gain a day at Disney now! lol Believe me in my world it makes sense!

I have been scary into planning mode since we finally narrowed down on our dates. Now I just need the EMH and the Fantasmic show times to help nail it down. With all the excitement and waiting I may need a vacation from my vacation planning.

Anyways, happy to be here with all of you!

I don't have much planed yet. we are staying at AOA in the little mermaid rooms! i sure my 13yr old son will cringe when he finds out but will be happy to be at disney world!
We are also going to do MNSSHP too! we even picked family costumes out! i will be mother gothel, dd will be rapunzel, ds will be flinn rider! soo excited but this means i need to start making my dd dress soon!

It came!! I love getting packages!

So this is for the trip, it's nylon, so good for water rides and my pretty large phone fits in the zipper compartments perfectly! Can fit everything I'll need and it's still not a big purse.

It looks bigger in the picture, but 3 x 11 x 10 inches (that sounds big, but it's not) and not bulky at all. It lays nice over the shoulder and on the hip.

Sounds awesome! I love Rapunzel! My DD (3) was Rapunzel last year at MNSSHP! Every picture of her with Rapunzel she was staring at Flynn (or as we call him, Eugene) I think she had a crush!
Of course this year the girls want to be Elsa & Anna... They want us to be Sven & Olaf! I don't know if I'll be able to pull this off!

Nice! I have been thinking a new purse will be required before October myself. One thats Disney ready and not brown or black.

I have read through everything to this point and I am joining in!

I am taking my DS9 from October 21-31 and we will stay at CBR! I do plan on 2 days at Universal as we are big Harry Potter fans. I am also working on taking my Mom with us for at least part of the time. I know she would just love to go...final plans on that to happen this weekend

I have only been to WDW once when I was 16 for a high school band trip (color guard for me) and my DS has never been! We went to the Dells twice last year staying at a waterpark resort and I surprised him both times. He made me promise the next time we go on a vacation that I don't surprise him...lol I think he will love all the planning just as much as I do. On that note, I do not plan on telling him until maybe August. I seriously cannot handle the "are we going yet?" questions constantly. I will plan a countdown chain of some kind and hopefully that will help.

I was a little squirmy about taking him out of school (4th grade) but really, this kid is awesome and he deserves it. His dad has never been in the picture and my whole world revolves around him. He's a good student and we just need the time away together.

I started a new job in September and my income almost doubled. I have been still living on the old job amount and putting the rest away...waiting for something to spend it on. I found it! I was looking at one of the All Stars at first but I decided to splurge and do CBR. It just looks beautiful and he will LOVE the sand beaches to play on and the playground on the island in the middle. I have been gutting my house to find things to sell on FB and my goal is $600 to make up the difference between the All Stars and CBR.

I am a spreadsheet nerd and severe planner, so please go easy on me

My first trip to WDW was Oct 2012 and we loved it so much we planned our following one on our way home (to Australia) for the following April. As our next trip is the one we'll get married on we've had to wait a lot longer for that to come around but we're finally booking flights and rooms for our 4 night DL and 16 night WDW stays in Oct/Nov! We're doing Halloween at DL and then hoping we time it right and get to WDW for the Wine & Dine Half - whenever that may be!

Hello! We're planning on heading back to WDW for a second year in a row in October to celebrate our five year wedding anniversary.

We're sailing on the Fantasy on 10/18, so we're planning on going to WDW first from 10/13 - 10/18. And we're going to stay at the Contemporary for the first time. We stayed at the Boardwalk Inn last October and were not too thrilled with it. The walk to Epcot and Hollywood Studios was great though! Can't wait to start planning and making dining reservations.
