We are scheduled to stay at the Dolphin the whole trip but an AP rate at AKL has been calling my name. The main reason I have not made the switch is that it would be tough on Bob to make the trek on the bus every time we had to go somewhere. At the Epcot resorts he can ride his scooter everywhere he wants to go. I love watching him have that freedom.

It is the last Sunday of summer. <<sigh>> But that also means I can say, "I am going to WDW next month!"

I am ready for Summer to be over and am so looking forward to fall.....

It is gorgeous here in the fall. I look forward to that aspect of fall, but my teaching schedule this year is pretty brutal. It will probably impact my DIS time!

We talked about it at great length this morning. He deferred to me. However, I keep remembering this from last October:

I know how much he hated making people wait for him to be loaded onto the buses (he needs to get over this!). The only park he will go to is Epcot. So... no brainer, don't y'all think?

One would have to like DHS to want to do that, though. And he does not.

I do anticipate finding him along the BoardWalk area as well as over by Y&BC.

Afternoon J's & K's - hope everyone is good. I'm here, so, we survived the storm!! Got some water in the back of the house, flooded my closet - had to tear out all the carpet/padding, it smelled SO bad........... OMG - our fence blew down and we had some limbs, etc... but, that's it - thank goodness. We had no power for 37 hours - but our generator did a great job....

...so glad that you an yours are safe....and with power!
