You guys are making me second guess my choice of Narcoossee's over Yachtsman... But I can't change now! DS10 is planning to order the 2lb. whole lobster. His class theme is lobsters, so he wants me to take his picture eating it & text it to his teacher with the title "Cannibal".

I ate there last year during F&W and it was the WORST meal I had the entire time I was there... I have said several times that I would not go back...

I'm glad I'm not the only one.

Narcoossees is one of my family's favorite restaurants and it is a "must do" every trip!


Heading home tonight. It will be good to get back home. I'll have a couple days to get things organized there, then "on the road again"............

It's been great! Just hotter and more humid than my body can tolerate so I've spent more time indoors than usual! Every time I step outside, my sunglasses fog up!!

Only 7 1/2 hours left of work and then I will start getting excited.

Yachtsman has been closed all week for refurbishment. I'm not sure what they're doing - they have all the windows covered.

I have only eaten there once, about a year ago, and my experience was.......... "eh". I don't remember what cut of steak I ordered, but I was not impressed.

....wow....I'm really shocked.....everyone else I've spoken to has always raved about their steaks....hey, live and learn....

....this is the first WDW restaurant that I've heard so many conflicting reports about...well now, guess I'll have to rethink future ADR's there....

....has anyone had the filet or steak at CRT recently? It's been a few years, but that steak was fabuloso!

Kim glad that you have a trip planned in Dec but I need a cheap flight for APRIL ...my DH has now come up with an alternate plan. Flights are cheaper out by Kim's way. We can get a flight out of Newark, Long Island or LaGuida (sp) for $134 but..... we have to drive 4hrs not including traffic to get to the airport. And I am actually scared to fly out of somewhere else. I love my little airport in RI which is only 5 minutes from my house

....how ironic, because that last few times we've flown to WDW, we NEVER use the NYC-area airports....we drive down to AC and take Pirit [ ], Spirit Airlines from there.....

Afternoon J's & K's - hope everyone is good. I'm here, so, we survived the storm!! Got some water in the back of the house, flooded my closet - had to tear out all the carpet/padding, it smelled SO bad........... OMG - our fence blew down and we had some limbs, etc... but, that's it - thank goodness. We had no power for 37 hours - but our generator did a great job. I sincerely hate these storms!! Hope anyone getting the effects from it now stay safe!

** Alison, they arrived and LOVE it - everything is perfect!!! Thanks again!!

Hope everyone has a great weekend - we have lots of cleanup outside, and once the closet area is dried out (fans running as we speak) I'll replace the carpet in there. New fence comes later!! BUT, the BEST news of all is -
Today is GAMEDAY - and we have POWER - so, it's ON BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!
