If you're ever in Southern NJ head over to Century Bakery in Bridgeton...they make THE BEST fried donuts (dough spread with cinnamon, sugar, butter I believe and wrapped jelly roll style, cut then fried and then iced)...never found anything like them anywhere else...topped with your favorite icing (chocolate for me!)...puts DD and other chains to shame! Thanks Century!!![]()

Nothing better than fresh glazed donut right off the conveyor belt at a Krispy Kreme store.
Took the kids in to Krispy Kreme for our free doughnut today! And I had a coupon for a free Key Lime doughnut to try. So we got 5 free doughnuts! (3 kids plus myself and our free doughnut) Sent a photo to our DS who was not with us of what he missed. hehehehe
We have a Dunkin Doughnuts here, but you know that was the first doughnut I ever threw away. Not a fan.
How funny, and I can't eat Krispy Kreme! They're simply too sweet for me. I've tried them a few times, and have thrown them out every time.
Strike my previous answer...
Fresh cider doughnuts from the apple orchard during the fall.
