They attempted delivery today but the dogs had a Groomers appt and since we have 3 dogs and one with mobility issues my husband and I were both gone to take them. I'm going to be heading to bed soon so unless my hubby gies to get it fir me tonight I will get it tomorrow. Unless they attempt delivery when I am taking him to the airport. Which they probably will.

You saw some different characters at Goofy's!! We've seen Pluto & Jasmine, but not Rafiki or Fairy Godmother at this meal. Glad to hear you had good interaction with them because our last trip we didn't & left very disappointed. Love seeing the food porn.........makes me excited to get back down there!!

I thought the characters were great this time! I was happy NOT to see Chip &/or Dale here as they are to be found so many other places!

I met that same Jasmine on my last DLR visit I am usually very bad at recognizing faces but I guess her's stood out.
And I love how the Fairy Godmother had a sharpie! How perfect!

Too funny that you recognize Jasmine. I usually remember if I have seen the same character on that trip but not after the trip.

I am with Sherry on liking the sun through the hat picture. That adds an element I have never seen.


I love the whole sharpie thing with the Fairy Godmother and it is good enough to make me wonder if it is part of a routine for her.

Great start Paula! I adore GK. I think I sat at the same spot one. It was fun to see the characters pop up from behind that wall

At first I was dissapointed thinking we were going to be hidden but it turned out to be an awesome spot! The characters came in a door right by there and so we could see them as they entered!

I knew I wanted to spend my Birthday at Disneyland and I knew my friend would love it as well so it was awesome!

My laptop is back! I'm just working a lot this month so will update when I can but it may be a little slower in coming that I want!

So I last left off with the finish of our Goofy's Dinner. We wound our way back through the maze (Did I mention how hard it was to figure out where to go with all the walls at DLH?!)

And found ourselves on the backside of the Sorcerer's Hat!

And from the front without the sun shining through

Now I have to mention something stupid I did quite often during my trip. I often had sunglasses on and then I would see something I wanted to take a picture of so I would take out my camera and go to take a pic only to think there was something wrong with it as I couldn't see the display. Yeah... I forgot to take my sunglasses off and the display on this camera is different from my last one so it looked really dark to black with my sunglasses on.

The above picture is just one example! I couldn't figure out why I couldn't see the hat even though the sun was no longer shining right at me!

We mosied through Downtown Disney towards Disneyland!

And then we were in the gates!!

Laptops are wonderful! When they work! In my case it was a charging issue. Nothing major. Just annoying. Even more annoying I had to send it in twice for the same problem!!

I was reading your TR from my iPhone but it was too hard to reply! I find it fun to read your TR and I was there!

URGGHHH!!! So I had my next update almost complete and my computer just restarted and I lost it all!!!

I'm not sure why my computer just restarts like that but it really annoys me!!

Anyways... I'm super tired so not sure I will get my update done now!

Okay... So last I left you with the idea that we were heading to the Rivers of America to catch Fantasmic! If you had guessed this you would have been right! So we were at the Rivers of America and it was still looking pretty empty so I asked my friend is she wanted to catch a ride or just sit and hang out. She decided we should just sit and hang out so we spread out the HUGE beach towel I had brought along in the red Mickey Bag I had bought on my October trip. I had also packed my fleece. We sat and chit chatted and people watched.

I have to say there are some CRAZY people out there!! There was one lady standing there yelling and screaming at people cause she had been sitting there for 4 hours saving spots and now she didn't have enough room for her family?!?! There was also the woman who came up to use with her daughter just before the show was going to start to ask if the space in front of us was taken. We said "No" as there was a small space there and since there was only the two of them it would be okay. The towel Kim and I were sitting on was HUGE so we had enough space for us while still maintaining some personal space. Unfortunately the woman and her child ended up being a family of 5!!! Um... there was not enough space for 5!! We ended up having to scoot back to make enough room for them and in turn encroached on the people behind us. We felt so bad!!

Anyways it was now close to the show starting so we sat a little closer then intended and prepared to enjoy.
