It's kind of fun to do the impossible - Disney with a 1 month old *new 2/13/15*

Yay that she met the height requirement for EE! So would you say the height guides are pretty accurate to what you measure at home? Dugette just reminded me that the height requirement for the Barnstormer is 35 inches so we'll see if DS can ride that in January...may be a little close though.

Olivia looks so small on EE! Was she pretty anxious while waiting in line, did Judi tell you?

:thumbsup2like your ride photo!

We had missed out on the Maharajah Jungle Trek last time. Definitely hitting that up next time.

That is an excellent spot for PP on the bridge. Great shot!

I love that shirt! I took a picture of that last time, wishing it came in my size.

I never thought about Triceratop Spin before. You're so right, why aren't they pterodactyls?!

Olivia looks so calm in the ride photo! But her reaction after the ride is hysterical!

Glad to hear that ride photos really are automatically added, I was a bit skeptical of that myself!

Great photo of yourself in front of EE :thumbsup2

Yay for Olivia being tall enough to ride EE! Her reaction is hilarious. I bet next time she'll love it! Sorry that she chose to ride it with Judi instead of you. Rory had a week of wanting "dada" all the time and this morning when he chose me instead it was like "aaaaaahhhhhh". Kids. :rotfl:

Hopefully she will like it next time - I am still working on her to ride Tower of Terror as well. Coming up in a later update but she loved the Mine Train - much smoother so no cheek shaking :rotfl:

Normally I wouldn't have minded that she wanted to go with Judi but it was just how much before hand she was talking up only wanting to go if I went with here. Oh well.

How much do I love that she wouldn't do EE again because it made her cheeks shake! Bah hah hah! :rotfl: So awesome.

I too adore that shirt. And I'm pretty sure they have it at Hot Topic if you still really want it...

It was also funny because she would retell the story - complete with hand motions - whenever we asked.

Thanks - might check for it ... though lately I have been buying more t-shirts than I am actually able to wear since I don't really get to wear them during the week at all.

Ugh yeah, I also "enjoy" the Fantasmic pre show.

How nice of you to share your glow and how nice of them to be so appreciative.

You got some great photos Phil... and some great gifs.

The Frozen fireworks were pretty spectacular.

Wait, are you saying you skipped the crane ride at AK????

HAHAHA "sad panda", sorry that cracked me up. Gotta love a good South Park reference.

Thanks Rob - especially compared to last year I am glad I got some good shots. The best part of the Fantasmic! pre-show is that you know Fantasmic! is coming after they are finally done ;)

Actually, I am sure Peter would have been over the moon excited if there was a crane ride at AK - or anywhere really.

I'd say they were pretty accurate, if anything a hair on the low side as at home, by some angles she definitely looked a bit shy of 44" and she was solidly meeting the board for EE and also for Space Mountain

I know - she really does look tiny in the EE seat. Judi said she was anxious but excited - not super scared or anything

The Treks are definitely fun if you want to just kinda chillax a bit and take in more of the theming.

Definitely glad I spotted that PP spot :thumbsup2

I mean, Dumbo can fly, and the carpets can fly, and the space ships can fly (or at least orbit) - think they would have picked a dinosaur that could actually fly :goodvibes

I think she was just very focussed more than anything - but I enjoy seeing her face on the ride photo.

For us at least everything worked fine with the ride photos - though no one minded that we stopped to double check.

Thank you! :thumbsup2

Sanaa is totally one of our absolute favorite restaurants on property!! I can't wait to hear all about it!!

That shirt is freakin hilarious!! Makes me want to watch Meet the Robinsons!

The jungle treks are something Jeremy and I love to do also, I was so sad when we went in June and everything was closed down on Animal Kingdom day because of the lightning and storms. I want to go back so we can see the new baby gorilla!! They are so adorable! We got to see one a few years ago, so I will keep my fingers crossed that we can see one next month.

That photo of you and Everest is great! That is totally a fantastic spot for a pic! I will have to keep that in mind! :thumbsup2

Yay for her eating her veggies and making the height requirement! Boo for not loving it though. She will in time. Love that GIF of her wiggling cheeks!

There always has to be one thing you did not buy on a trip that is a goal for the next trip. I passed up a Hollywood Tower of Terror bath towel a few trips ago and still regret that decision to this day!

We enjoyed Jiko for dinner, so look forward to your Sanaa review!

Glad Olivia made the height requirement on EE - How exciting!! :cool1:

I agree that the POG juice at Tusker House is ridiculously good! When we were there, the server had brought me enough refills to finally just drop a pitcher of it off at our table! :lmao:

Sanaa review is coming up next update. Spoiler alert -> it is a positive review ;)

I love that shirt - also like the one with the T-rex that has one of those grabber arms that says "now I am unstoppable!" :rotfl2:

So glad I found that PP spot!

Even though she didn't love it I am really glad she made the height requirement - I think she would have been more upset if she didn't. Also, I think she was proud of herself for going on it

Good point! Maybe that is why we all keep going back to Disney - there is just too darn much to buy in one trip :rotfl2:

I was excited she made the height requirement - although a bit of me was sad that she is now that old - no longer my little girl ... though, at least I have the new Emma version 2.0 to take that role ;)

That's funny - I din't get quite that much but in some ways that would be easier for the servers to just have pitchers for each table

Oh my Gosh!!! Olivia looks sooooo calm on such a BIG ride!!! My boys would not even think about riding it when we where there! I am working on them though:thumbsup2

That’s awesome that Olivia was tall enough for Everest. Interesting that her whole train seems to be little kids (with their adults). Sorry she didn’t pick you as her riding buddy! She looks almost bored in that picture. Hilarious that her flapping cheeks were the problem! :lmao:

Hey, there’s Emma!

Yeah, that’s pretty crazy how they know which rides you were on with the Memory Maker.

Good point on Triceratop Spin – never thought about that.

Yay for Sanaa! One of our favorites! :thumbsup2

Olivia's reaction to EE was really cute! Hopefully shaking cheeks won't bother her as she gets a little older.

I almost bought that same tshirt last October and am also kicking myself that I didn't. I thought it was hilarious. Oh, well.....

I think she was just taking it very seriously and focussed ... and probably trying to get her cheeks to stop shaking :rotfl2:

Gotta keep working on them! When they are ready I bet they will love it! :thumbsup2

I thought her ride photo pic was a pretty good one - the girl in the back seat is making a great face! Yeah, going backwards? No problem. Shaking cheeks? Big problem. ;)

I saw a youtube where someone opened up a magic band and there is this huge antenna wrapped around inside and the only reason you would need something that big is to track position/movement - so really not surprised they can tell where you are - still a little freaky and taking some getting used to.

Sanna is coming up next update!

I am sure she will get better as she gets older and who knows, maybe even next trip she will want to go again - we'll see.

Just another reason to go back - to get that t-shirt! :thumbsup2

Olivia looks so tiny and adorable on Expedition Everest! Too bad she didn't want another ride on it

Really enjoying your report, we're possibly traveling with friends next fall, and their new addition will be about 8 months old by then- trip reports with babies are etra interesting to me now! :)

Can't wait to read about Sanaa, on eof our favorites!

I'm glad to hear Olivia was tall enough to ride EE. That's a proud day in any Disney lover's book. :rotfl2: But, yeah, I can see how you'd be just a tiny bit bummed about changing her mind at the last minute on who she wanted to ride with. I think I'd shed a tear if my DS wanted his first time on Thunder to be with his dad....:sad1:

You are completely right. Why the heck aren't the dinosaurs on Triceratops Spin pterodactyls???? I guess because they figured a lot of people couldn't spell/prnounce pterodactyls. Or Triceratops sounds better? Not very authentic, Disney. :lmao:

Bummer that the one tiger that was out was hiding. But hey, you can't beat chasing a bird around. :rotfl:

Lawson would have to agree with Olivia! He had his 1st ride in October & he sadly said he never wanted to ride again...

The girl sitting behind you cracks me up.

Love that Dino shirt. I've seen that one before & I know all to well about kicking yourself once you get home for not buying something. :(

Can't wait to hear about Sanaa!

I was definitely a little bummed she didn't want to go again but proud of her for at least going once! :thumbsup2

Olivia's first trip she was 8 months old - fairly easy, though she did want to wander a little bit. She was still nursing at that time and that kid got nursed on like every ride you could think of :rotfl:

Sanaa coming up next!

It's a proud day that she rode EE - though also a reminder of how fast she is growing up. Was a little hurt she didn't want to ride with me, but still proud of her that she went.

Might be because Triceratops is easier to say/spell than pterodactyl ... still think they missed the mark though ;)

They had a lot of fun with the bird - and behaved themselves pretty well and din't torment it or anything :rotfl:

Good for Lawson in giving it a go though ... they can start a new group of kids traumatized by EE. :rotfl2:

Yeah, kinda wish I bought it but hey, another reason to go back. Plus, if I bought every t-shirt I found humorous I would need a bigger closet

From a stellar view to an eyesore of cranes. Oops.

Well those Mickey waffles are where it's at.

Those lion pictures are super awesome! I feel like I never see that much of them.

But nope, Marie and I skipped safari last week.

That gif is adorable and so is the fact that that was what she'd liked the least about the ride.

Actually we had a few pictures not show up on our bands, but otherwise yes, they're definitely not tracking locations ;)

Ooh, I'm interested in hearing about Sanaa.

I loved the reenactment of the wiggling cheeks that she gavem e when we were at hte Top of the world lounge! :rotfl: She is so cute. Glad she gave it a shot at least!

SO glad you guys loved Sanaa! Can't wait to hear all about it.

It hit me as I was going through my pictures as they were basically right after one another - stark comparison of the sublime and the, um, less so :rotfl:

One thing I love about TH breakfast is they have some unique African style options but still have classics like Mickey Waffles - and also the Krispy Kreme donut holes, so you get a nice mix

That was definitely the best we have ever seen the lions - often we see like the top of the head of one of them, but this was a nice surprise.

Olivia is pretty funny on what she focuses on -> won't go on Maelstrem b/c of the trolls, won't go on ToT for the ghosts, didn't like EE b/c it made her cheeks shake .... no issue with the drops or high speeds or anything though :goodvibes

Sanaa coming up in a bit! :thumbsup2

She is a good little show-woman as she will re-enact the story at the drop of a hat - and I was definitely proud of her that she was willing to go on EE ... pretty big coaster for a little girl

Thank you again so much for the recommendation (and the push :rotfl:) to go to Sanaa ... review coming up in a bit!

Sorry that Olivia changed her mind on who her riding partner was going to be. It's fun to share their firsts with them, so I can understand being a bit disappointed when she made a last minute switch. I am very impressed with her riding it at all - my almost 9 year old is a total ride chicken - the only thing she'll ride with a height requirement is Soarin' - my 3 year old is a total dare devil, she's just not tall enough yet! I'm hoping that she'll make the height requirement for Mine Train either this weekend or when we go back in November.
