Thanks Princess. They are feeling a little better today.
Kathy, I am sorry to hear about the loss of your job. A similar thing happened to me. I was working from home in September 2010. I was told I would have to come back into the office to do my job and cover others, because cuts had to be made. Hiring child care and additional gas was not worth it, so I suggested they cut me instead. In July of 2012, they contacted me to help them again. It was for a different job. I liked the new job a lot better than my old one (at first). Over the past couple months, my job function changed a bit. I started not to like it and the staff was really upset with the changes I was putting into place. The stress got to me, so I quit.
I hope you like the new job even more than your last one but continue to like it. Change can be good at times. I am also glad they found you a temp position while you wait for your new job. I am already missing the extra money I was making, and I miss some of the people too. Other than that, I am happy to be home again.
