In 6 hours, we leave for DGD's first trip to WDW. We're all packed (stroller, formula, diapers, blankies, and even some clothes for the rest of the family!)
We splurged a bit and are taking a limo to the airport, over 90 minutes away. It is only $70 more than we would have spent on parking fees and gas but it is gonna be so nice to have the extra space for our "stuff" and to come back in a warm car. Normally, DH drops the rest of us off at the airport check-in and parks the van. I was not looking forward to all the luggage and a baby, too. With the limo, DH will be able to help, as well as the driver. We come home at 10pm and will have a big family Christmas the next day. DH and I can "veg out" on the trip home and will probably get home faster since the limo will be waiting to pick us up.
The only "down-side" to the limo is that 16 yr DD has informed us that we must look good when we go. She wants us to look like stars when we get out at the airport!!!! Not very likely with me..... but she has her shades and coordinated outfit all ready to go.
We have a 2BR at the DVC Beach Club, a little tree packed plus lights & a big red bow for the balcony. I'm looking forward to celebrating this blessed holiday with Mickey and the Candlelight Processional on Christmas Eve.
