Hmmm...but did we end up going to Kona Cafe?Great shopping!!! Great update!!! Sounds like it was a lovely day!!! I can't wait to hear about Kona and your evening!

I barely took any pics, I was too focused on shopping.Good shopping pics. I might steal your Stitch picture. For some unknown reason, I didn't take any pics of DTD this year EXCEPT for DD playing at the Lego Store. Oh well!!!

I had only gone to night and have to agree with you. Much less crowded and the stores were way easier to nagivate. You did manage to get a ton done with only being at DTD for like four hours including lunch. That's why I always tell people to go shopping during the day, not at night at DTD. So much easier.
That's it! I am so excited you found it. That's exactly it. Thanks!Oooooh, I am so looking forward to your seeing all of the treasures you bought!I love Goofy's (although I thought it was slow when we went too). The Christmas store is awesome!
I think that would be a fun place to work. The floor reminded me of a candy by Brach's (so I Googled it) take a look at the jelly nougats.

Is that anything like it?
Great update!![]()

I hope you have a fabulous trip filled with lots & lots of magic!Awwww LL I'm so glad I got to read an update before i left![]()
It sounds like a great day!!! I can't WAIT to go to DTD! No one ever wants to shopwith me!
The floor reminds me of the hard candy that my MumMum used to make herself for Christmas. It was a family event. Cooking the candy, pouring it out onto wax paper, cutting it into pieces before it completely cooled, then us kids got to make a mess and toss it with the powdered sugar!! I remember one year it was unseasonalbly warm in November and the parenterals made us sugar them OUTSIDEso we wouldn't make a mess in the house!!
I don't think we ever called it by a name thoughit was just "hard candy" and we made it all sorts of flavors and colors!!

Honestly, I didn't really think Goofy's was worth it. I'll give you my full opinion in the next update when we eat our treats. I guess the picture of the floor will have to be the subsitute for no lampage. It seems like a lot of people complain about how slow the service is at Goofy's. Was it worth it? Could I make the treats just as well at home?
Another great update Lallie, but I kind of missed the lampage! And I feel really bad that you're so tired at this point in the trip.

I thought it was really sweet of him. That is sooo sweet!![]()
You know what? I don't think we have. We must have a Disney Day soon & try one of them out! I do really enjoy looking in them though. I think for the price, it's a great souvenir. I can't wait to try out some of them when I have to bring a dish to a party or gathering. What do you think of them? Have you tried any of the recipes out of them yet?
That floor does look like grandma candy!

I still haven't framed my postcards yet but that is besdies the point, they are great! I think in 4 hours, if you go during the day you can see a lot of it. I didn't venture over near Pleasure Island at all, we just stayed at in the Marketplace area. That is the candy I thought of too!![]()
I am looking forward to seeing all your LOOT!!!!! I love that there are 5x7 postcards at the art store! We didn't have a chance to explore DTD on our last (first) trip, but this time around we have about 4 hours cut-out for it.![]()
