It's a Jolly Holiday with LL. *FINISHED* Final Update on pg. 58.

OK. Perhaps crazy question. Lunch. I had been planning on trying the Tune In Lounge (no ADR)... think I should try for a BD ADR? That Cobb salad appears to be calling my name. Do you think you could ask them to go light on the blue cheese? I know... picky, picky, picky!!
I'm sure you could. I am sure you could even ask for it on the side. :goodvibes I say go for the ADR. You can always cancel it if you decide not to go!

You really would. Everytime I was getting sentimental I was thinking of you and when you would tear up on your trip. See, when I was looking at the menus for Brown Derby I kept worrying I wouldn't find something but of everything I sampled, I can't imagine them making a bad dish. I also know that our Waiter was able to make accomadations for tables around us. I think most of the places in Disney are flexible if you have pickey eaters.

I am such a sap when it comes to that kind of thing. :rotfl:

Looking at the menu, I would order the Cobb Salad, the salmon, and the grapefruit cake. Charles and Chelsea would probably order the steak as long as they could order it without mushrooms, and Connor would probably order the grilled chicken breast. See, we are all set on what to get.

Oh and next time I really want to try the Cold Water Lobster Corn Bisque. My love of cobb salad won out this time around.

Mmmm that sounds good too!

Well there you go. You should book it! I am sure they can make it without mushrooms. I think a lot of people don't like mushrooms. You either love them or hate them, I don't think there is a middle ground.

Your Fantasmic Pics are AWESOME!!!! Mind if I borrow a few:goodvibes

I get way too caught up in watching it, that I NEVER seem to take any pics:scared1: It is my absolute favorite WDW nitetime spectacular:thumbsup2

Thanks for the BD review... I'm glad you enjoyed it! i now know I Don't want to try it:rotfl: I'm just WAY too NOT high classed enough:lmao:

Paula

Love the installment---especially the Fantasmic shots---that is SUCH a wonderful nighttime EXTRAVAGANZA!!!!! Since we can't go to that show for probably several more Disney trips, I will look at your photos fondly and remember what a wonderful show it is----Megan has SERIOUS issues with that show, and we are NOT going to subject her to it until we think she is ready for it----which will probably be a LONG while!!!

I am glad I could give you some pictures to enjoy. I think that is why Marc and I tried to get to all of the nighttime shows because if we have kids soon they probably won't care for the loud noises and such.

Kids are so funny... my littlest on her 1st trip, loved ToT, Space and Splash Mtns, Pirates, stuff I thought of as "scary". But instead she was terrified of anything involving FIRE!! Indy...:scared1:
Fantasmic:eek: Lights Motors Action:scared1: (couldn't even get her thru the door for LMA) And the backlot Tour:eek: catastrophe canyon yikes!

Gotcha! :thumbsup2 They did have a few plainer things on the menu. The quality of food was sooooo good. Since I have been with Marc I have become way more adventurous with food.

That is way too funny. Sometimes it amazes me what kids are afraid of but then other things you think they would be scared of don't bother them at all.

So, in order, my favorite Disney nighttime shows are:
1. Wishes
2. Illuminations
3. Fantasmic!
4. SpectroMagic
5. Electrical Water Pageant

And I have to say, that crowded theatre is NUTHIN! honey! I have attended 'Standing Room Only' showings of Fantasmic! Believe me, you get a whole new appreciation for those backless bleachers. ;)

I haven't gotten to the Wishes portion of the Trip yet so I will hold on telling you my opinion of that. ;)

That's what I am saying! I can't imagine how crowded it is during the first show or during busier times. No thank you. :scared:

You took some wonderful pics and I have truly enjoyed your TR. I'm glad you guys have had a great time. Keep the TR coming.......

Another great update. We missed Fantasmic again this year (we've seen in but it's always lousy the night we plan to go). BD is way more imaginative in their menu than I thought they were...I might have to add that one to my "future ADR" list.

I think it should be added to your future ADR list. Do you have another trip planned? I can't remember.

I'm going alone for a DisMeet in February and then we are planning to take DD for her 6th bday in October 09. Nothing is actually booked yet but I'm working on it. ;)

Oooooh! A solo trip! How fun! I knew you had mentioned that you didn't want to take DD out of school next year.

Ya I didn't want to take her out right at the beginning of the yearly. Sadly, I found out that the school completely frowns on absences for vacations anyway. So I don't think we'll be taking any 9 day trips again for a really long time. But I figured that it would be okay if I pulled her out for like 2 days and go Thursday night- Monday night for her bday...that way I can squeeze in another MNSSHP too! And we'll get the free bday ticket. :cool1:

WOO HOO for a free ticket and MNSSHP! Sounds like you might have to join the summertime masses if you want a longer trip.
