Our house is completely undecorated. I've been procrastinating about painting the walls and trim and until I do that I don't want to put holes in wall. Anyone want to have a DIS painting meet at my house??? Also, about calling a baby a "little nugget". At least that's what I assume you were referring to. When do you think you'll do that???

I was totally thinking of you with the outfits in the ziploc bags. I was telling DH how some people on the DIS do that for their children and how I wish they made ziplocs big enough for my outfits and he thought of the space saver bags.

I can't tell you how many times I have done that exact thing. Every time I got to the dollar store DH says "so did you dollar yourself to death?"

LL, today I discovered the wonder of the Dollar Tree! I mean I'd been there before, but I saw lots of the things you purchased, and it made me think of you and how close you are to your trip.

I remember why I limited myself going to Dollar Tree now. I spend too much money.

Little peanut I use, but little nugget just sounds funny. Love it though! And LL, DBF is nowhere near the perfectionist I am, so therefore I don't really let him near the paint. You should see our siding after he stained the deck this year!

I think it's awesome. He really likes it, as do I.

I thought a fellow DISer with MIL issues would enjoy this one. So my MIL announces to me yesterday that she made plans for me to go visit some family friends while I'm in FL

YA, she wants be to go visit her BF's parents...who I don't know. I barely know her best friend (she lives out of state). Her rationale for this...they only live 30 minutes from Orlando. HUH???? So I remind her that we won't have a rental car and I'm certainly not renting a car just for the day to visit people that I don't know 30 minutes away. So then I had to put up with a 1/2 hour lecture about why she thinks it's crazy that 1) we go to Disney every year and enjoy it, 2) we stay on property, and 3) want to only go to the Disney parks instead of enjoying the whole state of Florida.

Ok, I know that some people don't "get" the Disney thing. Fine. But try to respect my interests and the interests of your son and granddaughter.

That is so something my MIL would do! She is mad at DH because the day after we get back they are having a 50th Birthday party for his Aunt. It's at 2PM, an hour away from us. DH is usually home in bed between 3PM-4PM because that is first night back to the overnight shift. MIL is beyond angry and said that his Aunt has done so much for him (like be rude to me) and that he needs to go. I told her point blank that I wasn't going and DH had to sleep. It's not like him working overnight is a new thing, he has told the WHOLE family numerous times that if they want him to come, events can't be on Sunday afternoons.
I feel your pain, I truly do.
