It wouldn't be spring without an Epcot F&G Festival! New pg 35

Focusing on one park per day is definitely more relaxing. Plus, you get to really enjoy the details of that park.

Sorry I'm late to the start but luckily I'm not too far behind and now I'm all caught up! :thumbsup2

Love the dual report, Heidi you are a riot!

YAY for BC-CL! We've stayed CL at AKL and it was wonderful. The kids loved being able to pick up snacks there and it made breakfast a breeze. On a side note since you love BC so much even though Disney doesn't advertise DVC points there you can still pick them up either by going on a wait list with Disney or through resale. Just sayin. :rolleyes1

Can't wait to read all about your plans! :flower3:

A little OT but Evan had some great luck with PT and Chiro for plantar fascitiitis. Plus new shoes and inserts lol.

Plans sound good though, how wonderful to have tickets all set and take the time to enjoy the resort. Plus you couldn't be at a better resort to do that!

Thanks for the info! I wouldn't have thought of chiro for plantar fasciitis!

I love not park hopping! It makes the trip feel more relaxed. I think your plans sound great Amy! :goodvibes

I'm excited to have some true relaxation time!

I think it will work out well for us. There have definitely been times in the past that we've felt rushed to leave our morning park so we can get to the next park in time for an ADR.

Sorry I'm late to the start but luckily I'm not too far behind and now I'm all caught up! :thumbsup2

:welcome: I'm looking forward to trying out club level. I was excited to learn that there are BCV points for sale through Disney... we learned all about it on our DVC tour in November. It's not happening now, but it's definitely not off the table entirely.

I am loving this pre trip report. I swore I posted before but must have just done it in my mind :rotfl:.

I think the Beach Club area is gorgeous!! I am so happy you are getting to stay there.

Heidi's input is just hilarious :rotfl2:. I can't wait to read more!

Glad you made it! I love having Heidi's input!

Here are our plans for the first four days... The Beach Club portion of the trip.

Thursday, 4/19: Arrive in Tampa around 10:30, pick up rental car, drive to Orlando (eating lunch on the way) & check in at the Beach Club! We’ll spend the afternoon at the resort, enjoying SAB & the snacks in the lounge. We’ll have dinner at ‘Ohana… a first for us!

We may or may not return for Fantasmic that night.

If we don’t watch Fantasmic, we’ll try to watch Illuminations from somewhere in the crescent lake area.

Saturday 4/21: Resort Day!!

We’ll take some time to visit the Boardwalk area & do a couple things we ran out of time for last time.
Eat lunch at ESPN Club:

Maybe rent a surrey bike:

We also have a dinner ADR at Cape May:

There is also a campfire on the beach, probably around 7:30 that I’d like to go to.

Sunday, 4/22: We’ll pack up & check-out at the BC. When we check in I have to find out how it works on our last day… I know we can have access to the club level lounge all day, even after checking out. Not sure if we have to get separate keys or if our keys will continue to access the 5th floor all day. After checking out, we’ll head to Epcot!
ws_epcot_fountain2.jpg

Except we’ll be entering via the International Gateway.
We have a lunch ADR at Teppan Edo, for a party of 8!

Heidi & family will be joining us for a fun meal at one of our favorite restaurants!

We’ll tour the park a little more after lunch, then head back to the Beach Club, stopping at the lounge one more time, then head over to check in at Sheraton Vistana Villages.

We’ll probably just hang out at the resort, find something for dinner, get some groceries & relax.

Up next: Plans for the rest of our trip.

Your plans look great!

We stayed at Sheraton Vistana Resort for one night before moving to BLT last summer. Are the villa layouts similar at Vistana Villages?

Thanks! I think it's going to be a great way to start our vacation! Yes - As far as I can tell, the layouts are very similar to Vistana Resort. I think the major differences are that the resort itself is quite a bit smaller & it's a bit further from Disney.

I love that you have resort day in there that isn't a move day. I always mean to and then...it doesn't happen. Very cool that your families are having dinner together, how fun!

Sounds like a good first couple of days. The resort day is going to be great! As for your last day your regular keys should work, when we stayed AKV-CL we used the same keys to access the CL floor after check-out.

Beautiful Beach Club and great eating! :woohoo:
Happy planning!!! :dance3:
I'm living my 'no Disney trip' spring through you and others, so be sure to take lots and lots and lots of pictures!

I too love that we have a resort day! It's the perfect resort for one!

Really looking forward to Teppan Edo with Heidi's family!

Good to know about the keys! Thanks AM! :goodvibes

You'll make it through spring MeMom - don't you have a trip planned for June/July? :confused3

Great plans Amy! The Beach Club looks amazing...so happy you are getting to stay at your dream resort! :thumbsup2

I'm really excited to be staying there!! :cool1:

Amy, the plans sound great. I kind of hope you keep 50's Prime Time; we've not been in about 12 years and I'm debating booking it for our September trip.

I'm here! The Beach Club looks like so much fun.

:welcome: I can't wait!!

We love 50s Prime Time & almost always eat there. However, the kids have been asking to go back to Sci Fi. DH didn't like it at all & I just thought it was OK. We are at DHS twice during our trip so we could eat at both places. The problem I have is that on our second DHS day, we are having dinner at Chef Mickey's AND doing the Wishes dessert party. I don't know if Sci Fi for lunch would be too much. My thought is that if we eat a light lunch at Sci Fi & we'd be OK. If we decide to just do CS on that second DHS day, we'll want to do Sci Fi on the first DHS day. Make sense? :confused3

Loving your plans so far. Very relaxing and fun. The pool at Beach Club looks very fun and relaxing. I can't wait to read about your Ohana dinner.

I hope the pool at the BC will be relaxing! I picture a lot of running around after the kids since it's so big!

I'm excited to finally try 'Ohana! I know DH will LOVE it! He's a real carnivore.

To recap our plans so far...

Thursday, 4/19: Arrival day, hang out at Beach Club, dinner at 'Ohana.
Friday 4/20: DHS day
Saturday 4/21: Resort Day!!
Sunday 4/22: Epcot day/Teppan Edo with Heidi's family/move to off-site condo.

Monday, 4/23: Today we’ll visit Animal Kingdom in the morning & go to Hoop Dee Doo Revue for dinner!

I’m so excited to take the kids here! I went with my family on my very first trip when I was nine. Tim & I went in 1997, around our 1st wedding anniversary. I think the kids are finally at the right age to enjoy the show. They really get a kick out of things that are corny so this will be right up their alley!

Tuesday, 4/24: Magic Kingdom Day!

Castle.jpg

Lunch will probably be our usual… Pecos Bill’s taco salad for me & Columbia Harbour House for the boys.

Sorry, not sure how these pictures from the Spectrum Mom's trip got so small... And thanks to whichever Spectrum Mom I borrowed them from...

I love how quite it is upstairs:

We’ll stay at MK until we feel like leaving. Maybe we’ll even have an early dinner there before we leave? Maybe we’ll have dinner at our resort? Maybe we'll pick something up at the Contemporary? Maybe we’ll eat somewhere else near our resort?

Up next: Two non-Disney park days
