Don't worry too much about him, he will come around. I think that he was just suprised and did not know how to react at first. Give him some time. ADR Changes ​

Even tho were only going to be in the world for the weekend… the ADR’s were really important to me.. and apparently dbf too!!! Here are ALL of our MUCH debated options:

Friday

Lunch: Earl Of Sandwich , The Wave
Dinner: Jiko
Dessert: Boardwalk Bakery

The problem with Friday was that we had to switch our photo shoot for that evening which meant that Jiko was out of the question because I’m having my hair and make-up done… and apparently dbf is really upset about missing Jiko. Then I felt bad that we were going to miss a TB service so I made a reservation at The Wave (because Lynn gave it such good review) for a late lunch… but then we wouldn’t be able to make it downtown shopping on Friday and we’d have to move in on Sunday..which meant No water park for Sunday. Well dbf really likes the water parks.. so The Wave/missing shopping at downtown Disney was out and I’ll be honest, I’m really looking forward to the shopping.

We are hoping to head over the Boardwalk for the very first time after our photo shoot with Roots on friday.. and I’m just hoping the bakery is still open for a piece of cake because ever since I start this diet… I can’t stop thinking of CAKE!!!

Saturday

Breakfast: Everything Pop
Lunch: Sci Fi Dine In
Dinner: Tony’s Town Square, Jiko

Now, nothing had to be switched on Saturday… but dbf was really upset that we I had to cancel Jiko on Friday night because of the photoshoot. So I went and booked us a reservation at Jiko for Saturday night…I thought he was going to be completely surprised and happy. Well I broke the news to him and yep you guessed it…he was angry! LOL NO, I’m just j/k he was just undecided because Tony Town Square is our favourite at MK… but he really wanted to try Jiko. I”ll be honest here again, I’m really looking forward to trying the steak with Mac n’Cheese and to see the AKL.. I’m hoping to stay there on our next trip in late May.

It was a hard decision b/w the two because if we ate at Tony’s Town Square we don’t have to leave the park, no worrying about transportation, no worrying about getting back into the park after dinner because of full capacity and ultimately more time at the park…which is important because we only have 1 full day for 2 parks.

However, were always up for trying new adventures, restaurants and things in general. I was really looking forward to the steak with Mac’ N Cheese and to see the AKL.. Dbf too.

So after he read over the menussss…..he chose…JIKO!!!

Sunday

Breakfast: Kona, Chef Mickeys, Everything POP
Lunch: Water park


Ahhh… Sunday….well depending what decisions were made on Friday night we may have been doing Downtown Disney instead of a water park.. BUT luckily we will be spending our last day soaking up the sun and enjoying Blizzard Beach.

Now, I had originally booked Kona for 9:45… then realized Blizzard Beach is open at 9am AHHHH Well dbf wants to spend as much time as possible in Blizzard Beach so 9:45pm was NOT going to work. Then I was kind of upset that we didn’t have any character breakfast so I booked chef mickey’s.. but dbf let me in on the fact that he’d prefer to not have a character breakfast just the two of us.. so I re-booked Kona for 7:45am which would allow us enough time to try TANGA TOAST and head out to the park for just a little after rope drop.


Alright, enough with the rambling. Here are our FINAL ADR”S for our weekend getaway:

Friday

Lunch: Earl of Sandwich
Dinner: Everything POP
Dessert: Boardwalk bakery

Saturday

Breakfast: Everything POP
Lunch: Sci fi Dine In at DHS

Thanks!!!! In order to make the most of our time there we will have to eat more often at Pop Century but I think it's worth it. I've never been at boma.

As most of you are aware, shopping is one of my favorite things to do, probably my favorite pastime…as I try to explain to Dbf that in many women's lives, shopping is a hobby and a must for some. When we're up, we shop. When we're down, we shop even more…it’s just a part of life he needs to accept and move on. I love to shop for anything and EVERYTHING. So with that,

I think I’ve gathered my “Headed Home: Airport Style” outfit.​

First up, A white shirt I got ON SALE at Gap (which I NEVER shop at, just happened to pop in with Dbf) for 12.99CDN$.

Next, my second purchase off of E-Bay in my lifetime, a turquoise necklace. I’ve been looking for this necklace with the real stones for a long time. I finally found one at Banana republic online but it was listed as 125.00CDN$… so dbf suggest I give Ebay a shot and it was SUCCESS.

Third, My shoes. I just LOVE, LOVE them. Nothing more to say!!!

Well as you all know, I’m in between purses (which is so frustrating)…I finally narrowed it down to a specific type/color/style that I wanted. I am looking for a hobo, large tote to match my shoes in tan. I found a couple styles I liked at BCBG, Banana Rebuplic, Club Monaco but they all were not the right color… FINALLY I found 2 potential matches at Michael Kors website online. Unfortunately the only store in Ottawa has an opening date of July 2009. It’s still not open as far as I know.. in the mean time while I was shoe shopping.. I came across this little beauty. Not as large as I liked.. and a little darker than my shoes.. but I think it may be the purse. For now, I’m going to leave it in the packaging and if Micahel kor’s actually open it’s door to the Ottawa public prior to our departure date.. I will pop in and take a look. For now, here’s my bag.

Oh yah, while were in Watertown, NY I’m going to pick up a Vera Bradley luggage tag and a huge tote as well… so in the airport I’ll have both purses with me. I love the Bali gold and purple punch patterns.

Last but not least, my ripped jeans…. Very much in style. I bought them about 3 weeks ago but obviously they are not appropriate to wear at work…and I still feel like I need to lose another 5-10 pounds in order to have a perfect. Fit.

Well, I tried my whole outfit listed above to show dbf because we will be running into some of his co-workers and I want to look my best.. needless to say he carried me up to the bedroom!!!

On a side note, I’m thinking of wearing the white shirt and the turquoise necklace for our photo shoot…It’s so summery….but I’ve already worn it to work..but i love the way the white and turquoise compliment each other..so we'll have to see what else I can find.

Thanks.. go for girl. The necklace in total was like 30.00CDN and totally worth it in my eyes. awwww... I twisted my ankle almost 3 years and it still gives me some problems.. but so far so good in the shoes.
