Hi! Sorry it's been so long since I posted but we got back from our trip a week ago and I am trying to get caught up on life. Just a few thoughts swimming in my head after getting caught up on your PTR.

I love that you are doing the photo thing and I LOVE that you are getting your hair and make up done. What a nice thing for both of you to have together. I wish we could have done something like that.

It has been ridiculously hot this summer in the south (weather.com says it feels like it's 99 degrees outside right now in my neck of the woods ), so I foresee a waterpark in your future

Thanks... Dbf thinks getting my hair and make-up is a little much.. but there's no way i can manage my hair in the Orlando Heat and besides I jump on any opportunity to spoil myself.!!

It was actually my DH's idea. I couldn't believe it.

Have you decided on your resort yet? I've changed our plans once again, but this time I think we are set.

You changed your plans... to what? No, I"m gonna sit down with Dbf on either Wednesday or Thursday.. so i'll have an update then!! Although, I have a feeling we won't be switching.. expenses are increasing by the minute.. and i'm hoping to head out to Cuba or the Domincan for spring break with my cousin.

Yes, we do! His name is Cuddles. He's 8 years old and just as much of a puppy as he was at the start.
He's not mad when we get back from vacation, once we found the place where we now have him boarded. When we had him at the other places, he wasn't a thrilled dog, but he wasn't mad with us either. More like not himself for about a day. However, when we found the place we use, that treats him so well, we always pick him up and he acts completely normal! We actually take him to a place run by the same company as the one that now runs the WDW kennels. That's actually a coincidence, since we began taking our dog there before WDW switched their kennel company, but it is funny.
Do your research on where you plan to leave her. Visit the place and make sure they show you the whole place and answer your questions. If you don't feel comfortable with the place, trust your instincts. If you plan to leave her at a kennel/boarder, look to see if there are any boarding resorts in your area. That's how my kenneo is advertised. Our dog actually gets a mini-version of a human bed, which we like, since he sleeps on ours. He gets cuddle times, which is important, since he's very used to that. There are a lot of things they offer, which a typical kennel does not. They also don't use the traditional kennel cages. They put the dogs in their own rooms, in a manner of speaking. :

Ohhh...Cuddles.. 8 Years old....awww.... it's good to know that he's not thrilled but at least not mad. Were gonna start searching for a kennel/boarder over the next 2-3 weeks... I"m really nervous.. but i'm going to go with my instincts. Thanks..

Let us know if you decide to switch! AKL is always a good choice, and then you might still get to reserve Jiko, for your Dbf. Disney is all about theming, and what better theming, than to make you feel like you've been transported to somewhere you've never been? Whatever you decide, I'm sure it will be great.

Alright... I'm not sure if were going to switch to AKL...I still need to discuss it with Dbf but I did make a reservation for Jiko.

Congrats on the weight loss! Hang in there. I understand what you mean about looking forward to a break from dieting to enjoy the WDW food. They do have great meals and desserts! Just be sure to get back into healthy living when you get back. You'll only be gone for a few days, so you should be fine.

Thanks.. I'm trying really hard to hang in there. I"m already 12 pounds behind in my goal weight for July 31st, 2009 but I"m still sticking with it..gonna start adding in some exercise along with my diet.

I think i'll be fine while in WDW... I"ll def. going to enjoy the meals there.. but I"m hoping all the walking will help it balance out.

Yup! We're getting them done at the AKL. We're working on what we're going to wear. So far, we believe we'll wearing khaki shorts with complimentary colored shirts. We have a few ideas in mind. Let us know what you two decide to wear. You definitely should keep the heat in mind. Are you and your Dbf coordinating clothes?

Well I’ve been MIA lately because my Cousin, Kelly, came up for a week. We spent the week shopping, Celebrating Canada Day here in the Capital and watching movies. Here’s a photo to show you how many thousands of people were in the Capital that Wednesday…

Then we went to Niagara on-the Lake for 4 days. It’s absolutely beautiful there!! After a Hot Stone massages, the shopping outlets in Niagara Falls, On, July 4th fireworks and winery tours…. I’ve fallen in love with the little wine town. Here are a couple of photos:

Now back to WDW, I mean it’s only around the corner….

- I’ve FINALLY booked Disney Magical Express! The CM told me, I should expect all the necessary documentation in 10 days… Thank god I decided to call this afternoon… I could have run out of time.

- I’ve paid Roots!! I’m just now deciding what locations to have our photos at… I was really hoping for Celebrations.. but Roots suggested we have them taken near a hotel where were able to pop into the lobby to cool off and this would also not have us travel to Celebration. I really wish we could have done them in Celebrations..But I completely understand regarding heat. Also, they’d prefer to not do a wardrobe change, so were just going to pick one outfit each (obviously). So with that, they have suggested the Grand Floridian… but that is not ‘our style’… then they have suggested the Polynesian…I showed Dbf some photos of the Poly… we like them but were not ‘in love’ with the location…. This is turning out to be really difficult…:*( We are meeting for 6:45pm.. which would give us some shot with the sun setting.. Which I’m really happy about and looking forward to seeing the photos.

-I”ve also filled, signed and sent Beaute Speciale a client contract. They have been nothing but accommodating and extremely helpful. Now my homework is to cut out some Hairstyles/make up that I love. My only problem now is whether to wear my hair up or down… obviously I want the most flattering look possible for my face shape and body type.. so we’ll have to see. Any suggestions is greatly appreciate… I’m still deciding between these looks:

-We’ve decided that we will be going to Blizzard Beach on Sunday before we leave… I re-scheduled our Kona Breakfast for 7:45am and afterwards we’ll just catch a bus to Blizzard Beach.

Well, that kind of stinks about not being able to go to Celebration. Have you thought of POFQ or what about SSR or OKW? I like the relaxed vibe of all of those.

As for the hair, personally I like the low bun. It seems relaxed and really beautiful. I also like the half-up/half-down style as well. I would be afraid that the down style wouldn't work well with the humidity.

Can't wait to see your purchases and pix.

That kind of sucks about Celebration. What about the Boardwalk? It's awesome there! Or even Downtown Disney could be a unique place for pictures. I bet you guys could get a lot of really nice shots there.

The all down look is gorgeous, but it might not hold up the humidity and any wind as well. I vote for the Eva Longoria low bun. It's so pretty, I think it would suit you really well. Maybe you could ask someone at Beaute Speciale what they do to ensure a hairstyle holds up to the Florida humidity.

I think the hairstyle is going to depend on the type of outfit you pick. If you pick something casual to wear, you might not want a really fancy up-do. I would say my favorite is the low bun as well since it can be dressy or casual. My husband is sitting next to me so I asked his opinion and he really studied all of the pictures before picking the low bun as well.

It is smart of you to not just go to the GF because they suggest it. The Poly is nice for the landscaping and the beautiful beach. The Boardwalk suggestion is a good one too.

Well.. they are not engagement pics (even tho, i know he'll be proposing before the end of the year) and No, not for a wedding... or anything... were just getting I guess you call it lifestyle photos taken.

We have absolutely no photos together and were planning on using them for around the house, christmas cards and to give out to family... so any thoughts on how i should wear my hair?

I dont know if it's new.. i just filled out what time, where, what i wanted and put my credit card information down and re-emailed the form back to them.

I'm proud of you. Do what you can. I'll probably be a bit behind myself by the trip, but there's always time afterwards. Exercise will definitely help.

Last year, on our September trip.. he was angry with me for spending the money on the Aqua Seas Tour. He thought it was going to be a big waste of time, he complained about having to have wear his bathing suit and lug around my things.... and guess what???

Well.. he's def. coming around in his own way as usual. Yesterday he went to get his hair cut because he wants it to be just at the right length for the photos and he's willing to drive the 3h 1/2 to Syracuse next weekend so we can find outfits together, he's started to do a little fake and bake with me and as Arely's mentioned early.. he's manscaping already LOL

I have no doubt in my mind, that Dbf will absolutely LOVE the experience and photos once it's all over with... he has simply repeadetly told me that he's shy... but i dont believe that for one minute. He's going to love it.. just wait until our TR!!

Don't worry too much about him, he will come around. I think that he was just suprised and did not know how to react at first. Give him some time. If he is "manscaping" he is obviously not that angry. He loves you and will want to make you happy. He probably just doesn't know what to expect. I can't wait to see the pic's.
