Are you wondering how the two relate? Well get to the inside layer..

As you know I’ve wanted to plan a surprise for Dbf and was going to surprise him with the photo shoot…even tho it was kept from him until a week or two ago.. the photo shoot was more for me.. HAHAH not a surprise for him more like a treat for me. He’s definitely coming around to the idea, and I know in my heart he’ll really love it once we have the photos!!
When the surprise was posted here, I had a couple of ideas in mind but decided against it because of financial reason (I’m taking a Driver’s Ed Course, we have a couple of weddings this summer/Fall, I’m hoping we’ll be heading out to Hawaii this February, I want a new bedroom set/Dining room set)….

Well, I re-worked my budget and I’m officially going to purchase 2 Aerosmith tickets for Dbf this week sometime. Right now, I’m just debating between box seats with my work OR whatever seats are left in the arena…
Now, a lot of you have giving me wonderful ways to surprise him.. BUT because I’ve been craving a cake since I started my low-carb diet over 2 months ago… I want cake..which means I’m going to intertwine the two together.

On Saturday night, at our Jiko Dinner (Which he’s really excited about) my plan is to have a cake arrive at the table. After much consideration and research on the official cake thread’s.. I’ve decided on an Almond Cake with Bavarian Cream and white frosting under the Fondant. A cake that has a Rock N’ Roll theme, the colors being red/black/silver with an identical looking Aerosmith guitar from the Rock N’ Roll roller coaster at DHS on the top of the cake… and thanks to Calderl, I’m going to have written on the cake “Enjoy the Show”. Thanks Linds!

When he’s looking at the cake.. I’ll hand make him my ‘fake tickets’ (there’s no way I’ll be able to travel with the real tickets and keep it a secret from him) I’d have to put them in the safe.. and he likes to organize all that stuff.. ahah So I’m going to make ‘fake ticket’ out of construction paper and tuck them away in my Pass porters book until that Saturday!!!

Now he knows were ordering a cake, because that’s all I can talk about… but he will be surprised when it comes out, he sees it and when he reads “Enjoy the Show” then gets his tickets!!!

I love the top, the necklace, the jeans and the purse. Though I do tend to have a heel in just about every piece of footwear I own (I'm only five feet tall.), I definitely could never manage wearing those shoes. You are going to look great! I love Vera Bradley. Let us know what you ultimately end up getting. What color pants are you considering for the photo shoot?

Your plans for each day look great, too! I'm glad you were able to work Jiko's back in. Your plans for how to tell him about the concert are great! I'm sure he'll love it. Be sure to take pictures of the cake you ordered.

BTW, is Stella still chewing on the furniture? My dog has never done that, with one exception. We just had to consistently tell him no, whenever he tried to bite part of an end table we have. I also think there's sprays to spray on furniture that will keep a dog from biting it, if it continues.

NO she's not, because we've been keeping her busy 24/7 and not leaving her alone in the kitchen while we leave the house.. we took the dining room set out.. I"m gonna have to go out and buy a spray!!! Last night, we took her to Fritz and Bark because i'm looking for some party supplies for her 1st birthday and i couldn't find any... BUT i did manage to get her some all natural, homemade treats.. she was soo excited. She loved them!!

Yup! We're leaving one week from today!!!

WOW.. One week from today.. thats crazy!!! I placed my order for 50 dollars worth of birthday supplies for Stella Victoria... I know 50.00 seems like a lot but i ordered a ton of stuff... besides she's having 3 other dogs attend her Birthday party. I"m really excited, i'm going to bake her a cake... and give everyone loop bags.. I"ll def. post some pictures in my TR.. because her birthday is September 20th!!

Shih Tzus are picky..VERY picky!! It took us a million +1 tries before we found a treat she would eat..

Our Package came via Express post from Disney last week. We got two luggage tags and are vouchers. It’s always a good sign that your trip is just around the corner when you receive that package from Disney Magical Express.

This year for the very first time, I’m going to check a bag with them. I’m hoping it actually arrives at our hotel and I'm actually excited about not having to pick up our luggage!!!

I’ve decided that my photo shoot outfit and any accessories/make up I may need for our photo shoot will be packed in my carry-on. There’s no way I’m going to risk it. Our flight lands at 10:57am.. I’m hoping we’ll receive our luggage in our room by 5:45pm.

I haven't read any horror stories about DME and luggage delivery.. so I’m 95% confident there will not be a problem.

We checked our bags with ME in November. We got there around 3 I think and when we got back in the room at 10 they were not there. I called and they were in the luggage area, just waiting for someone to deliver them. I'm sure it will be fine.

Our Countdown is all ready to go, thanks to Home Depot

This year i've decided to place it directly under the house calendar. The main reason why I made it and put it there was to remind Dbf of how many days he had left to get himself organized On our last trip he waited until the morning of departure day to go to the gym, shop for clothes/bathing suit, get a hair cut and PACK. I was soo furious and we arrived late at the airport


So, I’ve decided were going to start to countdown from today, Friday, July 17th, 2009 exactly 2 weeks from our departure date. (which should give us enough time to get organized).
