Now that I’ve successfully found my Airport Style, I’m on to new and better things!

We drove down to Syracuse this weekend…I would have loved to been able to go into more stores, browse through all the racks (including sales), tried on more items and ultimately have gone home with much more purchases but we only had at most 3 hours and there were two of us going into completely different stores and we had no tax exemption for less than 24 hour visit. Some stores I went into were New York & Company, Victoria Secret, Banana Republic, Hollister, Charlotte Russe, Pottery Barn, Crabtree & Eleven and H&M.

Here’s what I got:

First up, My carry on, a Bali Gold Vera Bradley, IT”S HUGE and I think it will be perfect to carry whatever clothes and other necessities are needed for the first day. I’m very disappointed that they didn’t have a matching luggage tag.

Secondly, I got shirt from Sunny Leigh, at first I was like ohhh… those aren’t colors I usually wear.. but the shirt looks sooo good on me and it’s incredible comfortable. It was also regular price 79.99 on SALE for 75% off original price!!

Next up, I got this shirt at Banana Republic and it’s just my style to a T. It wasn’t on sale tho.

Lastly, It’s always a guarantee that I’ll purchase things from Victoria second…Love, LOVE it.

With that, Here’s what’s left on my list of things to get prior to departure which is less than 2 weeks away:

-A pair of pants or a pair of shorts or a skirt for the photo shoot most likely in Black
-Corset with built in bra preferably nude color
-A Top for Saturday day in the park preferably light weight with no sleeves and a v neck
-Bathing suit for Sunday at Water Park
-Nail polish
-Luggage tags
-Fake lashes
-Magazines for plane ride
-New memory card
-sun screen
-Water bottle’s x2
-Jewelry

WOW.. One week from today.. thats crazy!!! I placed my order for 50 dollars worth of birthday supplies for Stella Victoria... I know 50.00 seems like a lot but i ordered a ton of stuff... besides she's having 3 other dogs attend her Birthday party. I"m really excited, i'm going to bake her a cake... and give everyone loop bags.. I"ll def. post some pictures in my TR.. because her birthday is September 20th!!

Shih Tzus are picky..VERY picky!! It took us a million +1 tries before we found a treat she would eat..

Today, I have less than 48 hours before I'm in Orlando!!!

I can't wait to see how Stella Victoria's party turns out! We went to get supplies for our Cuddles, for his trip to the dog resort. While we were there, we got him a new toy, which he loves! We'll let him take it with him.

As for pickiness...my dog will only eat one brand of dog food and only two brands of treats. No wonder they were favored by royalty for centuries!

Our Package came via Express post from Disney last week. We got two luggage tags and are vouchers. It’s always a good sign that your trip is just around the corner when you receive that package from Disney Magical Express.

This year for the very first time, I’m going to check a bag with them. I’m hoping it actually arrives at our hotel and I'm actually excited about not having to pick up our luggage!!!

I’ve decided that my photo shoot outfit and any accessories/make up I may need for our photo shoot will be packed in my carry-on. There’s no way I’m going to risk it. Our flight lands at 10:57am.. I’m hoping we’ll receive our luggage in our room by 5:45pm.

I haven't read any horror stories about DME and luggage delivery.. so I’m 95% confident there will not be a problem.

That's always exciting. It will all work out. I do understand not wanting to put your photo shoot clothes in checked baggage. We actually discovered that most of our clothes fit into two small carry-on rolling luggage that we have, so we'll have most of what we need, just in case. Though I do trust WDW to get our stuff to us.

Our Countdown is all ready to go, thanks to Home Depot

This year i've decided to place it directly under the house calendar. The main reason why I made it and put it there was to remind Dbf of how many days he had left to get himself organized On our last trip he waited until the morning of departure day to go to the gym, shop for clothes/bathing suit, get a hair cut and PACK. I was soo furious and we arrived late at the airport


So, I’ve decided were going to start to countdown from today, Friday, July 17th, 2009 exactly 2 weeks from our departure date. (which should give us enough time to get organized).

-I've booked an appointment at the spa for manicure and a pedicure a couple days before we leave.

-We've booked our little stella in a kennel, I can't even talk about this.. it just breaks my heart to leave her.

-I"ve confirmed with the chef at the Boardwalk bakery and my cake got the green light...only after speaking with 4 different people and having 2 of those people tell me that they no longer make 'custom' cakes. I"ll have to call a couple days prior to departure to confirm that the cake is actually being made.. I sent them two photos and thanks to calderli, I"m going to have written on it "Enjoy the Show"!!!

-I bought the Aerosmith tickets...The only good seats left were in the 200 level (although it could worse, we could be sitting in the 300's or the 400's!!!).. probably won't be the best view.. but i'm hoping for those big giant screens. I"m sure Dbf will love the whole atmosphere, being there and will be happy

-I"ve also made up 'fake tickets' to bring to WDW to suprise dbf with... I'll leave the real ones in the safe. I made them in Microsolf Word with a template. They are currently in my passporters book until that Friday night when we pick up the cake.

-Our locations are confirmed with Roots, were going to start at the Grand Floridian and end at the polynesian for the sunset. I truly hated the Grand Floridian but after seeing they're recent photos of an engagement shoot down by the water ... I LOVE, LOVE THEM.. and dbf loves the poly.. so were gonna do both. I must admit tho, all the photos taken in Celebrations are still my favorite and I truly wish we could have taken them there... possibly for our engagement shoot when ever that time may come?

Hey girl.. nah unfortunately I do not have a PTR or any TR from the past--I always was a huge lurker and loved looking at photos and never got to do one--Lynn though(Lynn5700) said the same thing to me!!! I should do one haha.. MAYYYBE I will, it just takes time and patience with me.
Right now I am so stressed out with my job situation because I am in a very very miserable job, so I am very unhappy with that. Other than that life is great haha its just my job.
I know something good will come sooner than later, but I can't wait. im sooo antsy and need to get out ASAP--my goal is by August, IF NOT by Fall/Disney time hehe--I have applied at LEAST to about 12 places.. local universities, the hospital, AAA(for Disney Specialist), Liberty Travel(for Disney Specialist) etc.

Oh looks like we missed each other by one day, I seen the Disney store but ADBF wouldn't let me go in because were gonna be there in less than 2 weeks.

I did get my VB at the C&E, they weren't very friendly there at all... I must agree.. but it was my only options at the time and this way dbf didn't have to make an extra stop on the way home. Thanks, I used it this weekend... and although it only held 2 days worth of clothes.. it will be perfect to hold our outfits for the photo shoot, etc. It's still not as big as i thought tho... but everyone in my fam. wants one now..

awww thanks sooo much for your kind words hehe.. yeah I <3 to start a PTR-heck maybe ill do a TR because *BY THEN* hopeeefully I'll have a new job, and life will be more relaxed.. again everything is great.. I have an amazing boyfriend and everything else is great.. well sorry except for one thing.. I need to lose weight HeHe!! but other than that.. its the job thing.. and what sucks is thats where I spend like most of my time LOL so thats what makes it hard! I'm sure something will come soon, i'm just waiting every second for it, so it seems like time is dragging.. so we'll see !! Once I am out of this place, I know I will find relief and finally be happy!! I bet that will be the best feeling ever, finding a job that I like( i mean heck i know 99% of us can say we dont LOVE our job all the time but still).. I have to find happiness in my job and what I do.. and I can say I only have a few jobs I can say that.. and the #1 of course was DISNEY! I dont think I ever had a bad day really..love going to work.. loved the people.. loved the atmosphere (duh am I crazy!!!)
